Ashton's POV
Emma walked out and the chatter began as usual with the band. "I want pizza!" Michael yelled. Of course they want pizza. "Then order some goddamn pizza Michael!" Luke screamed from the other room. Okay I'm out, I'm going to find Emma. "I'LL BE BACK SOON BOYS!" I screamed. I heard multiple responses among the lines of 'okay' 'cool' 'I don't give a fuck'. WELL. I swung the door open and set off to find Emma.
Emma's POV
Okay, realization moment, I have no idea whatsoever where the hell I am. Day in the life. "NIALL? HARRY? LIAM? ZAYN? LOUIS? ANYONE?" I called out. No answer. Okay Emma, think, this is Fox Theatre, this is where you saw Paramore in April, this is where your dream came true when you met All Time Low, this is your home. I thought to myself, the number of times I've been here, I should know my way around.
I walked, well, stumbled, there's me and my clumsiness, into an area that was completely deserted. Who just leaves rooms empty? FILL THEM.
After walking around the entire building what seemed at least six times, I came across a new corridor. I followed the path until I got to a staircase, it looked like of hadn't been used in years. There were cobwebs and very little lighting up the staircase. "Go. Do it." the voice inside my head said to me. I started up the stairs, the light fading slowly as I ascended the stairs.
Once I reached the top of the never ending staircase, I came across a door. With the little light I had I couldn't make out the words painted on it. Should I? I should. I pushed the door open, and walked through the doorway. I was on the roof. I know this doesn't seem like a big deal, but I like roofs. You could say I just like roofs. I always used to go up on the roof, wherever I was, just if I needed to think.
I walked along the new area, examining my surroundings, I sat down and looked across the city, at all the dazzling lights, you could see beyond everything from up here. a gentle breeze ruffled my hair. I looked across the sky and saw the light show coming from the Greek Town Casino, the outside was always displaying an array of different colors. I loved Michigan. This is my home. I know I should be back in Cheshire with my family, but I feel like I belong here. I need to be here. I am needed here.
