Emma's POV
After I stopped the bleeding from my cuts and pulled down my sleeves I walked out of the bathroom. Not a moment sooner than I had turned the corner I had bumped into Luke. "Oh hey Luke" I said smiling. "Hey, I came to check on you, are you okay?" he said raising his eyebrows. Of course I'm not okay.
"Yea I'm fine." I said looking up at him. "Are you sure?" he asked. "I'm positive Luke" I said laughing. "Well, I'm going for a walk around the city, do you wanna come?" he said. "Sure why not." I replied. We walked out of the building and turned right onto the sidewalk.
We talked for what seemed years, learning about each other, and sharing experiences. It was one of the most amazing conversations I've ever had. I instantly knew Luke and I would become friends, I just knew.
"What's your favorite song?" Luke suddenly asked. "Well, I don't really know, I think its I Want Crazy or Paint You Wings, maybe Check Yes Juliet, there's a lot." I said chuckling.
"What's your favorite?" I asked turning towards him. "Oh, shit, I don't know. Probably I Miss You." he said shrugging. "BY BLINK 182? THATS MY JAM." I practically yelled and jumped in the air. "You know them?" he said laughing at my reaction. "Yeah, I love them, do you like All Time Low?" I answered. "FUCK TO THE YES." He said, easily as loud as I was. "Where have you been all my life?! Nobody from around here has the same music taste as me!" I said cracking a smile. We talked some more, about random topics, and macaroni, don't ask.
"Emma?" he asked pulling us out of our momentarily silence. "Hm?" I said without looking up from my black Converse. "Will you sing with me?" he asked shyly. "Uhm, I'm not much of a singer, unless the shower counts." I said being my awkward self. "You can't be that bad, come on, you can even pick the song." he said lightly elbowing me in the ribs. "Ugh fine, do you know Somebody's Heartbreak by Hunter Hayes?" I said giving in. "Yeah I do actually, you like country?" he said. "Yep. Now you start!" I said lightly pushing him. He cleared his throat and his voice filled my ears.

He raised his eyebrows, signaling for me to sing with him.

He looked shocked at my voice, was I that bad? Or was I, good? He joined me in the next lines.

We finished the song and I couldn't help but smile.
"You aren't bad at all! You're amazing!" Luke said amazed. "Well, thank you, but I'm afraid that the only ones who will ever hear me are you and the shower head." I said laughing. "You have one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard" I said blushing. "Thank you, but I know that's not true." he said pushing it off. "Luke, I'm not lying to you, you have an absolutely amazing voice, and anyone who thinks different needs to get their ears checked because your voice is flat out perfect." I said. "Thanks." he said blushing. He looked over to me, and his eyes scanned me.
That's when he saw the one thing I've been trying to hide.
My scars.

Hey guys! So I updated again, I was really moody today, I literally wanted to punch everyone. So I decided to write, it clears my mind. I was thinking about starting an update tomorrow and maybe publishing it that day or on Sunday. Well, that's it for now. bye!
