How is it already chapter 20?! Where has my life gone?
Ashton's POV
Partying with the lads and Emma counting down to the new year, happy new year punks. X
I tweeted and slipped my phone back into my pocket.
We were at a party, all of us, Louis, Liam, Harry, Zayn, Niall, Calum, Mike, Luke, Emma and myself. The boys from All Time Low invited us to their party. I didn't know many people here, are I recognized a few, but other than that nothing.
I glanced over at Emma, who was sitting quietly next to me. Her eyes were focused on her hands that twiddled on her knees. I nudged her with my elbow and she turned. "Yes Ash?" she asked. "Just letting you know I love you." I said loudly over the blaring music. She smiled back at me, "I love you too Ash." she yelled over the music as well.
A couple minutes later Alex came over to us. "Hey guys! How's the party?" he said sitting next to me. "It's good, but it's loud as hell in here." I replied raising my voice. "Yeah it is, and would this be the lovely Emma you always ramble on about?" he said looking over to her, causing her to madly blush.
"Yes it is as a matter of fact, Emma, this is Alex Gaskarth." I said grabbing her arm. "I-I know who he is, I'm a fan, we actually met before. Last year in Detroit." she stuttered out, continuing to blush. "Well, Emma, nice to meet you again. And I admire your music taste." he smiled at her and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too." she smiled.
Emma's POV
How is it almost 2014 already? I barely remember half of 2013!
I tweeted and turned back to Ashton, who now had Alex Gaskarth sitting next to him.
Oh my god.
Ashton's POV
Finally it was one minute to midnight. "Should we join everyone in the countdown?" I asked Emma. "Sure!" she replied standing up and grabbing my hand, taking me to the dance floor where everyone was counting down to midnight.
Ten!
Nine!
Eight!
Seven!
Six!
Five!
Four!
Three!
Two!
One!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I grabbed Emma by the shoulders and locked my lips with hers. I could feel her surprise and then she smiled into the kiss and kissed me back, wrapping her arms around my neck. We pulled apart and she whispered in my ear.
"Happy New Year Ash"

It isn't even new year, it's just December 30, it's like 11:40 and I needed to write this. Im posting this tomorrow at midnight, I'm just gonna put my time written as midnight. 500 reads and I'm really happy. Thank you all so much.
