Luckily Tuesday goes as fast as it came and before I knew it I'm standing in front of the same old brown door as this delightful weekend. Raising my hand I knock on it three times and wait.
The door swings open with a bang and, there, stands... the not so delightful... Jacob Hale.
"You again?" He sighs.
"Yes. Me again" I confirm but he roles he's eyes.
"What do you want now"
"I'm here because Ari and I have and assignment due" I shift from one foot to the other looking like my usual annoyed self.
"Well he isn't home yet so you can just wait in his room" he leaves the door open and walks off.
I step into the house and close the door quietly behind me following him.
As I follow Jacob through the house my eyes start to wonder over the dark house only to be lit by the little light streaming through the lounge window. The house itself wasn't really big, as soon as you walk in you are greeted by the messy pizza box filled the lounge with only a wall separating the kitchen and dining area, the thing which caught my eye was the amount of dirty dishes stacked on top of each other in the sink. It didn't seem very... homely, but who was I to judge?
"Are you coming or are you just going to stand the like a lost dog?" The harsh voice snaps me out of my trance, I realise I was just standing there observing the house very obviously.
Jacob was standing in a very narrow hall way that held six doors. "Coming" I turn towards him an made my way through stepping over the few clothes that were left here and there.
"Now that you've had a good look at the house on your own terms, here's Ari's room... Just make sure you don't touch anything" he opens one of the door in the hall way that reveals another dark room and switches on the dimmed light.
Before I can thank him his already disappeared into one of the other rooms.
I make my way towards the double bed and seat myself on it and scan the room.
It's a good size bedroom surprisingly clean unlike the rest of the house. With dark blue walls, a desk underneath the window seal and two bookshelves on each side both filled with all kinds of books.
I didn't realise Ari was a reader.
Getting up from the bed I drop my bag and move to the bookshelf in the corner furthest from the door.
Romeo and Juliet
I pick up the tragic love story and look at its state. It seems like it's been read a few time because of the worn out pages. I run my index finger on the cover of the book and notice the think layer of dust on it.
"I'm home!" I hear someone yell followed by a slamming of a door. I jump slightly.
Few minutes later I hear footsteps making its way towards the room, Ari comes from around the corner and closes the door.
He shrugs off he's bag before kicking off he's shoes, and begins lifting up he's top over he's head and I widen my eyes. He's toned torso comes into view and my mouth drops open a little. I couldn't help staring at his muscular body, jee if I were a normal girl I'd be jumping all over him, but... I'm not any normal girl.
Damn.
He moves towards he's desk still not noticing I'm there and drops his keys on it. His hands the suddenly moves to the buckle of his pants and before I can comprehend what's happening I've dropped the book that was in my hands and its now laying open on the white carpet.
