BLAZE (Oh Hold)

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

"Shit Sky are you okay?" Ivy bends over me as I lay on the ground surrounded by other students. I look at them annoyed and they all scramble resuming from what they were doing.

"Who the fuck threw that the dickhead" I sit up holding the spot where I was hit.

Just as Ivy opens her mouth she's cut off by a deep voice.

"That's gotta hurt" I look at the source of the voice.

"Well look who decided to come to school" I flick Ari's extended hand away from my face and get up.

Ivy quickly comes to my side helping me balance.

"learn how to aim" I shove past him aggravated that I was interrupted from my running.

"Sorry I didn't mean to do that" he follows on the other side of me. I take a seat on the bleachers.

"I'll get out some water" Ivy says. I mumble a thanks and she jogs off.

"Where have you been?" I question not looking at him.

"I slept in to late" I feel his heated gaze on me. "I didn't realise you did sport" Ari bends down in front of me inspecting the bump that's forming on my head and I role my eyes.

"I didn't know you played" I gestured towards the football team.

"Well I haven't made it on the team yet, today was only a tryout" I look up into he's ocean eyes and he smiles at me.

Wait his face. I frown.

"Your face has held?" I say with confusion evident in my voice and he looks away.

"Yeah, nothing some ice and pain killers couldn't help with" he stands up quickly "I better get back to them or I won't make it on the team" before I can stop him he already turns and walks away.

Weird.

I look at he's retrieving back and admire how wide and broad his shoulders are.

"Here" Ivy gently places an ice pack on my head and hands me the water.

"Thank you"

It's lunch time and I'm sitting at our usual table pissed off. Why? You ask, well after I told Tori and Aisha what happened during sport they took it upon themselves to tell Zayden who then told a few of he's mates about what happened and now, I'm sitting here with everyone laughing at my humiliation including my beloved twin, I glare at him and he just shrugs his shoulders like nothing happened.

I couldn't exactly hide what happen due to the massive bump I now have on my head. Aisha was the first to ask about it, her exact words where 'what? are you growing another head or something?'. From then I knew I should have just avoided them.

"that's going to hurt tomorrow" Zayden points out.

"What do you mean? it hurts now!" I push the icepack on my head but wince at the pain.

"Anyway, enough about your pretty little head" Campbell lightly taps my forehead "Everyone coming to the game this weekend?"

"I am" Aisha speaks up and Zayden smiles at her in appreciation.

"Maybe" Tori and I say together.

"I have a lot of homework I need to get done" Campbell rolls his eyes at Tori's reason.

"No your coming Sky" Aaron shoves me. "You don't have a choice I'm your brother and you should come and support me"

"I'm not going unless Tori does, cause if I have to deal with Aisha screaming in my ear then so does T" Aisha makes a tsk sound with her mouth while rolling her eyes.

"Well I guess tori is coming to then" Campbell claps. I narrow my eyes at his smiling face.

Why was he so happy that Tori was coming?

"Ok fine I guess I will" She gives in.

Finally, the last class of the day. Psychology. I have to admit; I don't mind this class. It's interesting.

"Okay class- "the teacher was interrupted.

"Sorry I'm late" The one and only Ari walks in.

"That's ok take a seat" the teacher smiles.

I need to talk to him. I reminded myself.

"Ok, now, were was I?" she blabs on and I hear a whistle from next to me.

"Strut yo stuff" Aisha watches Ari as he walks across the room.

I laugh looking up, but we make eye contact and my laughter dies down.

This is going to be a long class.

"Alrighty everybody, here are the assignments for this week's task. I need you to partner up with someone that you will work responsibly with and choose a topic" the teacher hands out sheets. "All the information you need to know is in the sheet and it will be due next Monday." She returns to the front of the class. "So could you all pick a partner"

I turn to Aisha.

"Oh and Miss Darrio, I would prefer if you worked with someone other than Miss Bradford"

"But-" I go to protest but she holds up her hand. "No buts"

I groan. Great.

"Sorry babe" Aisha gives me a sad smile.

"Don't stress its not your fault" I turn around and serve the class to see if anyone hasn't got a partner. And of course my eyes land on Ari. He smirks at me.

"Do you have a partner" I sigh.

"Why you asking" he leans forward on his desk.

"Don't push it" he chuckles.

"Ok you can be mine." I collect my stuff and move to the back of the class but Aisha stops me

"Make sure you guys actually do the assignment" she winks.

"Oh. Shut up"

"Ok so who's house?" we both stand up from our chairs.

"Probably yours, I'll get shot if I tell dad a guys coming over" I pack my stuff up shoving it in my bag.

"oh... um... okay, but I can't do tonight" we walk out the class and he follows me to my locker.

"Tomorrow then?" I stop in front of my locker and open it.

"Ah, yeah but I have training so come around 6:30"

"Alright see you tomorrow at yours 6:30" I smile at him

"Bye" he winks then walks off.

I'm a little bit annoyed at myself for not asking anything, I don't know why I didn't, it's not like me to back down I usually speak my mind. I guess I was just scared of knowing the truth.
