CHAPTER FIVE

Skylar's POV

"And the prince saves the damsel in distress" Aisha stands up and put her hand on her heart and out stretches the other one dramatically.

After school Aisha and Tori took it upon themselves to come to my house and make me tell them about why I was late to Psychology. I didn't see the big deal, nothing interesting happened anyway so I told them.

"Aw so he is a nice guy" Tori says in awe.

"I guess so, but he didn't talk much"

"Who cares he's hot!" Aisha drops herself on the bed

"You have a boyfriend!" Tori and I say at the same time

"Oh sue me then" she bites back.

Okay so Aisha may not seem like a loyal girlfriend but trust me, she is. She will call guys hot and stare at them all the time but she won't go any further than that, and beside, she is IN LOVE with Zayden. Tori and I just like to piss her off.

"And he was good to Danny" Tori taps on my desk as she sits there.

"I know. But it could be just an act, I don't trust guys" Tori and Aisha look at each other. "Wait! Who said I was into him anyway" I state

"Oh honey you're so into him"

"Even I can tell" Tori points to herself and I point at her saying.

"Don't you start with me Mrs Beverley" she blushes and quickly changes the subject. "Anyway. Enough boy talk, when's your dad home?"

"Not until late and Aaron's at Footy training until 6"

"Danny?"

"friend's house"

"So we have the house to ourselves" we stay quiet for a few moments.

...

"GIRLS NIGHT" we yell at the same time laughing.

Yes, we have girl's nights on school nights, so what?

"Skylar" someone shake's my shoulder gently.

"Shake her harder Tori" I hear the oh so sweet voice of my best friend and slightly open my eyes.

"Skylar we got to get to school" I feel it again this time a bit harder. I groan and shove my head in the pillow. I guess going to bed at 1 in the morning isn't such a good idea especially on a school night.

"Oh for God sake Skylar. Get. Up." I feel a pillow hit the back of my head and jolt up then glare at Aisha.

"What. we're going to be late if you don't get up" she nods her head at the clock while filing her nails.

"Who cares" I slowly get out of bed seeing both of my friends dressed and ready to go.

"What happened to being more responsible" Tori says putting her hands on her hips.

"I know but one day won't kill"

"This is actually the second time. This week mind you" Tori stats as a matter-of-fact.

"Shut up" I role my eyes and walk into the bathroom sluggishly.

After taking my time to get ready I walk out of my bathroom and see Tori waiting for me. Today I couldn't be bothered putting on decent clothes so I just chucked on a singlet and denim shots with my Adidas originals and put my brown hair up in a pony tail.

"Aisha's on the phone with Zayden, she's waiting out front for us"

"Okay be there in a sec" I start to pack my school bag with all my stuff.
