C9. Summer Vacation

A/N: Yeay! Summer Vacation!

As soon as you arrived at the beach, the boys had started to pull their shirt off. Some throw it away and jumped in the ocean while some just took it off but doing nothing afterwards. Riko was standing by your side, smiling and enjoying the cool breeze. She had wore her swimsuits earlier and forced you to wear one too which was why you ended up with a pair of (F/C) swimsuits right now.

Then Riko whistled, earning the attentions of the boys. "Now! Lets start the training!" She beamed, eyes filled with happiness. Though, people see that as evil intent. The team sweatdropped and even complained. Summer vacation was about vacation after all. Leisure time, getting tanned, swimming, cold drinks. But no, not to Riko. You just stood there and watched them as they play basketball on the sandy beach.

Enjoying a cold drink in your hand, you watched the play with excitement. Seeing how they had hardships playing it under the sun, you felt pity. When Riko had announced the break, you immediately grabbed a few bottles of cold water and handed it to the males including Kagami.

"Thanks (Y/N)." Kagami smiled as he took the drink. You returned him a smile and was about to walk away when he stopped you by the wrist. You turned to look at him. Kagami was pouting for some reasons and released you from the grip. Then he rubbed his neck. "Umm, would you mind if.. we.. I mean, umm.." He stuttered without looking at you in the eyes. Kagami was strange, it's rare for him to be nervous.

With no words coming out from the male, you decided to ask him instead. "Kagami, what's wrong?"

"Ah, sorry. It's just.. Can we meet tonight?"

"What?"

"I just need to talk to you about something.."

You averted your eyes elsewhere. "Can't we just talk now?"

"Please! This is important!" Kagami said and tilted his head down a little. When you saw him like that, you felt a bit uncomfortable. Who not? Since when is Kagami a desperate? Or maybe you just didn't really know who he is.

"Umm, please raise your head Kagami." You scratched your cheek, a little awkward but agreed anyway. Maybe it really is an important talk. "Okay then. Where and when do we meet?"

Kagami then raised up his head. His crimson eyes met your (E/C) eyes as he had a serious face on. "Behind the inn. After the barbeque session."

"10 o'clock then." You said when you saw him tugged his lips upwards. He ruffled your hair then walked the opposite way, back to the team. A sigh of relief escaped from your mouth.

'What's up with people ruffling your hair these days?'

You were hoping that he won't be a strange alien like how Kuroko was. But you noticed that lately, Kagami was somehow  attached to you. It was almost the same as Kuroko. The difference is that you haven't had a lunch break with him. Speaking of which, you never had it with any of the basketball members. Excluding Riko and Kuroko of course.

You snapped off from your trance and continued to pass the drinks to everyone. But when the time you need to pass it to Kuroko, he had suddenly grabbed your hand instead.

Kuroko wore a frown on his face, he held your hand tight. You almost winced from the pain that he had caused and struggled to let his hand off. You wouldn't mind if it was a gentle one but this kind of grip was hurting you. "Kuroko.. Let me go!" You blurted out.

Kuroko seemed to snap out of his thought when he released you and looked away. "Sorry, senpai." Eventhough he had looked away, you could still see his pained face.

"It's okay.." You said as you handed him the drink. "Here."

Kuroko took the bottle away from your hand and muttered a thank you. And with that, he walked off without even spare you a glance. You were a little taken back by that but you just shrugged it off when Riko called you to buy some popsicles for the team.

"(Y/N)! Have you tried the meat?" Asked the brunette girl as she stuffed her mouth with some of the meat. "It'sh bery tashty!" (It's very tasty!)

"Err, sorry Riko. I need to meet someone." You said, taking a glance of your watch. "I'll try it later. Save some for me!" You shouted as you ran towards the inn.

You were running as fast as you can since you were ten minutes late. You had forgot about the meeting, you were having fun eating and chatting you didn't realize that you were late. Thank goodness you were just a few minutes late.. That was what you thought until you were suddenly pulled from behind. The next thing you know was that you were on the top of a blue haired guy, which was no doubt Kuroko.
