Katrina took a deep breath as she stared at the headlines that were everywhere, she almost felt sorry for Mesut's ex-girlfriend even after the trouble that she had tried to cause them.
Mandy was apparently suffered from some of shock after her soul-mark wasn't properly removed and it had caused her a lot of problems; she was recovering in hospital with her soul-mate now by her side.
It had come as a bit of a shock when she had come home the other day to find Mustafa in her home; she didn't trust the man and he made her feel uncomfortable.
Mesut quietly entered the room and sighed, he had no idea what to make of what was happening to Mandy but he knew that she had brought this on herself; he was just glad he didn't have to deal with it.
"I was thinking that we could go to dinner," Mesut suggested wanting to relax and get away from his father for a bit, he didn't like the fact that Mustafa was hovering and it made him nervous especially considering the man's dislike for Katrina.
The last thing that Mesut wanted to deal with right now was anything happening to his own soul-mate and their unborn child; he adored them both so much and they were everything to him.
Katrina looked up from the newspaper that she was reading and nodded her head, it had been a little while since they'd been able to spend time together alone.
Mustafa was hanging around for a reason and Katrina didn't know what it was, she had a feeling that he would be here for a while and that made her nervous.
Wrapping his arms around Katrina, Mesut held her close knowing that they weren't going to allow his father to cause them any trouble; they were just going to focus on them.

Mesut couldn't help but smile as he stepped into the restaurant with Katrina, he didn't care that people were watching them only that it was a nice change to be out and away from his father.
There was no telling what the future might hold for them but slowly plans were coming together for their wedding and Mesut couldn't have been happier; he wanted to focus on the future that he had for him and Katrina.
The last few months had been amazing and Mesut honestly didn't know what he would have done if he had been forced to wait longer to meet Katrina.
There was no telling when they would get to relax again and Mesut was counting down the days until they could relax on holiday; the summer just couldn't come soon enough for the two of them.
The table that the two of them were given was just out of sight of the paparazzi and Mesut was relieved that they were able to relax now without any worried.
Katrina looked beautiful this evening and Mesut was glad that they had come out for dinner, he didn't care what anyone else thought of his relationship and soon he was going to be a father.
"I've been thinking," Mesut started when they had been left alone, he had been doing a lot of thinking recently and he knew what he wanted.
It had played on his mind a lot since Katrina had announced her pregnancy and Mesut hoped that his idea wasn't going to come and bite him in the ass.
"What if we got married this summer?" Mesut suggested with a small smile, he had been looking into some ideas and he knew it was something that would certainly surprise Katrina.
They had planned to wait another year for their wedding day but Mesut wanted to do this right, he wanted them to be married when their baby was born in November.
"This summer?" Katrina asked to be certain that she had heard him right, they were in the middle of April now and she had no idea what to make of his idea that would so suddenly change things.
Mesut nodded his head with a reassuring smile, he didn't blame her for being surprised and it did not give her a lot of time to plan out what would be the biggest day of their lives but he was sure that they could do it.
Maria had been dying to help plan their wedding and Mesut had no doubts that if they allowed Katrina's mother to help that they would be able to get married that summer.
"In the Bahamas," Mesut continued with a smile, he loved the idea of a beach wedding somewhere far away and he couldn't wait to call Katrina, Mrs Katrina Özil.
Silence greeted his statement and Mesut wasn't surprised, it was a big thing to drop on someone when summer was just around the corner and they had such a limited time frame this year.
Mesut had the Euros to think about and pre-season with Arsenal to consider, the time frame for a wedding was short and they would need to start planning now if they wanted it to happen.
Katrina tried to wrap her head around all of this, she was going to have to talk to her mother and she almost feared what sort of plans that would be made with planning now.
"It'll be fine," Mesut said smiling, he could picture it now and since they both came from such big families; there wasn't going to be a shortage of people wanting to help them organising their wedding day.

Katrina took a deep breath after she got off the phone with her mother, she was hoping that she had made the right decision in telling her about the change in plans; she couldn't imagine what was going to happen next.
The fact that they were moving the wedding forward on such short notice was going to make everything crazy; they had no plans laid down and there would be a rush in getting everything planned out.
Maria had insisted that they have lunch tomorrow to organise things and Katrina had no doubts that her mother would turn up with a file full of ideas.
There was no way that anyone was going to be able to control her and Katrina almost felt sorry for her father; she had a feeling her mother was going to be difficult to live with.
"My ma is very excited with the idea," Katrina said approaching Mesut, he had called his mother to tell her of the change in date and Gulizar had announced that she would be flying out to help with planning as soon as she could.
The fact that Mustafa was here didn't change a thing and Gulizar was determined not to let her estranged husband ruin this for her; she wanted to help plan one of the biggest days in her son's life.
Gulizar had been so happy and she knew that Mesut was doing the right thing, she couldn't wait until she had another grandchild to fuss over and it helped that she got along with Katrina's family.
Things felt very strange and Katrina almost couldn't believe that she had agreed to bring their unplanned wedding forward; she was worried they would not be ready in time.
There was almost a matter of the ever growing guest list, Katrina didn't know how they were all going to deal with these people and she had a feeling that narrowing it down wasn't going to be easy.
She had so many cousins that would expect to be invited and Katrina wasn't sure how she would let them down; it was to be close family and friends only and there were quite a few that didn't met that criteria.
