Mesut took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair as he stepped into his home, he was exhausted after training and he was just glad to be home; it had been a long couple of days and he was just glad to be back.

Things had been good since Katrina had told him that they were expecting and Mesut just hoped that things would be okay with his busy summer schedule.

Pausing Mesut frowned, he didn't like how quiet his home was and he was usually greeted by the dogs by now or Katrina since she would be home; he couldn't imagine a reason why it was so silent right now.

Moving further into his home, Mesut listened out for any sounds and tried to think if Katrina had said anything about going out to him.

Stepping into the living room, Mesut came to a complete stop at the sight of Mustafa sitting down on his couch; his heart pounding in his chest wondering what the hell he was doing in his home.

He had really hoped that he had seen the last of his father and Mesut couldn't understand why Mustafa had come back; things were good for him and Katrina and he had no interest in messing that up with a baby on the way.

"What are you doing here?" Mesut snapped not liking the fact that there was still no sign of Katrina, he wanted to know what was going on and he hoped that Katrina was alright.

Mustafa sighed knowing that he deserved such a greeting, he honestly hadn't come here to fight with his son even if he still didn't approve of Mesut's relationship.

He was only here because Mustafa knew that his actions were about to cause his son a lot of grief; he honestly hadn't meant for it to get to this situation.

"Mesut," Mustafa murmured in greeting, he was almost glad that Katrina hadn't been home when he had arrived; he didn't want to deal with her when this was about trying to do the right things.

The two men were silent as they stared at one another, they hadn't seen one another in months and they doubted that this was going to end well for them; their relationship had been rocky at best recently.

"Where's Katrina?" Mesut asked fearing that his father might have said something to drive her away, he reached for his phone with the intention of calling his fiancée to find out where she was.

It wasn't like her not to let him know where she was and Mesut didn't want to think that something might have happened to her and the baby while he was gone.

"She wasn't here when I arrived," Mustafa replied honestly, he had no idea where the waitress was and he doubted that it would be long before she arrived home.

He had no idea how it would feel to see the woman that was carrying his grandchild; Mustafa doubted that it would make him anymore fond of her than he was already.

Mesut looked down at his phone and felt relief flood him at the sight of a message from Katrina, she was at her parents' house since her father had been finally released from hospital.

Slowly setting his phone back in his pocket, Mesut eyed Mustafa wanting nothing more than to kick him out of his home; he doubted that this was a pleasant visit to talk about the baby.

"What are you doing here?" Mesut repeated for a second time, he wanted his father gone knowing that he could not be trusted.

Nothing that his father ever seemed to do was in his best interests and Mesut doubted that would change; he didn't want the man messing up the life that he had built here with Katrina.

Things were good and he wouldn't change anything for the world, he was even starting to prepare for the baby to arrive.

Mustafa was silent for a moment, his eyes closely watching Mesut not surprised by the cold greeting; out of all of his children, Mesut had always been especially close with his mother growing up.

"We are family Mesut... and I know I have messed up in the past but I am here to make that right," Mustafa insisted hoping that his words would mean something to his son, he was sure that if he could make things right with Mesut then maybe Gulizar would take him back.

Things had not gone well for Mustafa since he had separated from his wife and he missed her, he hated that his family had pulled away from him and he was missing out on Mira growing up.

He adored the grandchild that he had from Mutlu and Mustafa was sure that he could maybe grow to like Katrina for the sake of the child that she carried now.

Mesut stared at his father, he had no idea what he expected him to say to this and he wasn't going to let the man waltz back into his life and act like nothing had happened.

He certainly wouldn't be trusting him around Katrina or their unborn child anytime soon, Mesut doubted that his father could ever like the woman that was his soul-mate because he looked down on her family.

"I was helping Mandy plot to win you back..." Mustafa revealed gently, he didn't think that Mesut would understand but he hated that this was how his son would learn what he had been doing in the last few months.

It certainly didn't help that there was some woman suing him because for some reason she was convinced that he was her father; Mustafa just wanted to make amends now before he lost out completely.

Mesut stared at him at those words, his stomach twisting at the idea that his ex-girlfriend was still lurking about thinking that he would just leave Katrina for her.

He had a feeling that his father was only here to save his own skin, he had no interest in making amends only the fact that he was going to miss out on a lot of money if he wasn't involved in Mesut's life in some small way.

"Then why are you here?" Mesut asked trying not to lose his temper, he hated the idea that his own father had been plotting to split him and Katrina up when they were soul-mates.

He didn't like this and he had no idea what was going on, Mustafa looked so nervous and it set Mesut even more on edge; he moved to get his phone again fearing that it might not have been Katrina that had messed him.

"Something happened... it's to do with her soul-mate mark," Mustafa explained, he didn't know who had separated Mandy from her soul-mate but clearly something had gone wrong.

It was like she was slowly losing her mind and Mustafa was actually concerned what she might do to get what she wanted; he never wanted anyone to get hurt.

He certainly hadn't meant it when he had suggested that they poison Katrina to get rid of her; he had hoped that Mandy would sense the sarcasm in his words.

However, it had only encouraged her and Mustafa in fear of what Mandy might try to do, had flown out to London hoping to speak with Mesut before anything could happen.

He had done what he could for Mandy before he had left Germany, Mustafa had ensured that Mandy was admitted into hospital and from what he had heard it didn't look good.

"The one that she had removed?" Mesut asked wondering what the hell this had to do with him, he didn't care if Mandy had been so stupid to throw away her soul-mate because of his job.

There was no way that Mesut was going to make the same mistake and he certainly wasn't going to fall for whatever his father was about to tell him now.

Mustafa nodded his head, he peeked down at Mesut's one and he had a feeling that tomorrow this would be all over the news; there would be no hiding the mess that Mandy had gotten herself into.
