"She's perfect Kat," Mesut whispered staring down at their newborn daughter, it had been a long night and he had missed the match that Arsenal had played earlier that day but that didn't matter to him.

The fact that he had gotten to be there when their baby was born was all that mattered to Mesut and he knew that it wouldn't be long until his in-laws descended on the hospital.

Katrina smiled up tiredly at Mesut, she was relieved that was over and she wasn't in any rush to do that again; she was just glad that they finally had their little girl.

Things had worked out rather well for them since they had gotten married and Katrina couldn't bring herself to regret that they had done it the day before especially after the fight that had broken out on their wedding day.

Mustafa had been the main source of tension that day and it hadn't come as a surprise that he had kicked up a fuss moments before the wedding about the fact there was still no prenup in sight.

It had been Gulizar that had set him in his place and Mesut couldn't have been prouder of his mother for what she had done that day; she had stood up to Mustafa and told him that if he was going to be a problem then he could get lost.

"I can't believe that she's actually here," Mesut continued admiring the daughter, she was so tiny and he couldn't help but be in awe of the fact that this was happening.

Naiya Özil had come into the world about two o'clock that afternoon and Mesut couldn't believe that he had been so lucky to be here with Katrina when it happened.

He had just been leaving for his match when she had called saying that she was in labour and Arsène Wenger had allowed him to leave to be with her.

Katrina nodded her head, she couldn't believe it either and she was sure that they would be able to settle down quickly after this; they had a few days before Mesut would have to travel for another match.

"I guess we should be expecting our parents to arrive soon," Katrina mumbled sure that it wouldn't be long before her entire family descended on the hospital; they'd had to argue already with her mother so that she wouldn't be here when Naiya was born.

Maria would have taken over the entire situation and it had taken quite a bit of effort to convince her to back off and allow them to enjoy this moment alone.

Mesut nodded his head, he was sure his mother and siblings would be here around the same time Katrina's family showed up and he was glad that the two families seemed to get along so well.

It helped that he didn't have much contact with his father now that he was married, Mesut didn't care what his father had to say only that he wasn't ruining the life that he had built with Katrina.

There was a knock on the hospital door and neither of the couple got to speak before people started to enter the room wanting to fuss over Naiya.

Katrina couldn't help but laugh at how well they could predict what was coming when it came to her family and she knew that Naiya was incredibly lucky to have some many people that cared about her.

THE END.
