Nervously making sure that she had everything, Katrina couldn't help but think about what was going on; she was about to leave her home and the next time that she stepped into this house, she would be Mrs Katrina Özil.

The idea both scared and excited her, she had never thought that her wedding day would approach so quickly and Katrina could only hope that there wouldn't be any trouble.

Everyone was preparing for the trip and Katrina was a little nervous about traveling with her family; it was going to be a long trip and Mesut would meet them there.

Her fiancé had travelled to Germany after the Euros had ended, there were things that he had wanted to sort out before he travelled to the Bahamas with his own family.

The wedding would be quite a big one and Katrina was surprised by the size even if they had tried to keep the number of people traveling for the wedding down.

"Kat we need to get going," Athena shouted not wanting to miss their flight, everything was ready to travel and there was quite a bit of luggage that needed to be sorted out when they reached the airport.

It was going to be a long trip and not one of them were looking forward to it, Athena had her three sons to sort out and she was not looking forward to spending hours on a plane.

Katrina stood from the chair where she had been thinking, her eyes swept the room one more time before she took a deep breath and walked out of the room.

It would be a few weeks before they would be back from the wedding and Katrina just hoped that everything would be okay while she and Mesut was away on holiday.

Mesut groaned listening to his mother complain again about the fact that Nese wouldn't be able to come with them, his sister was expecting her first child in October and had been advised against flying.

It was a little disappointing that Nese wouldn't be there when he got married but Mesut understood and he was sure that his new niece would be worth it when he finally got to meet them.

"We will film it," Mutlu reassured sensing that Mesut was growing tired of all the complaints that were happening about where he had chosen to marry; he could understand why his brother had made such a decision and he supported it.

Nese hugged her brother, she was sad to miss out on the wedding and she wished that she could have been there but she was nearly thirty weeks and her doctor didn't think that a long flight would be good for her or the baby.

She was expecting a daughter at the start of October and Nese wanted to be prepared for that, even if it meant missing out on her brother's big day.

"I am sure everything will be fine," Nese said shooting their father a look, he wasn't happy about the fact that this was actually happening but there was little he could do now.

Katrina and her family had already left London and short of crashing the plane that they were getting on; there was little that could be done to stop the wedding.

Mesut smiled at her, he was going to miss her and he was sure that her daughter and his would be great friends; Nese's child would be about a month older than the one that Katrina was carrying.

The footballer had carefully planned everything out knowing that most airlines were a little wary about having heavily pregnant women fly on certain flights.

"Make sure to send me pictures," Nese insisted stepping back so her family could go and catch their flight, she was sure that Katrina would look beautiful on the day and Mesut was a very lucky man to have her as his soul-mate.

"Ma," Toula shouted trying to get some peace and quiet, she almost couldn't believe how loud she was being and she felt sorry for the people that had shared their flight with them all the way from London.

The flight had been extremely long and they had only just arrived at the villa where they would be staying for the wedding; Mesut had really pulled out all the strings trying to make sure they'd be comfortable.

"What? I was just saying how beautiful it is here," Maria replied moving to inspect more of the villa, it was a big place and would certainly do for the week that it had been booked for.

The wedding was in three days' time and there was so much to do now that they had all arrived, they were just waiting on the arrival of Mesut and his family.

Katrina rolled her eyes and grabbed her bag before quietly disappearing up the stairs, she was exhausted and just wanted to climb into bed and sleep until tomorrow.

Making her way up the stairs, Katrina found it easier to tune out her mother and aunt who were talking rather loudly still; she doubted it would be long before everyone retired for the night.

Stepping into the bedroom that had been labelled hers, Katrina was almost relieved that Mesut had insisted that the rooms be organised so everyone knew where they were sleeping.

The room was lovely and cool since the air-con was on and Katrina was rather relieved about that; it had been so warm when they arrived and she had felt a little uncomfortable with her ever expanding bump.

Setting her bag down, Katrina dropped down onto the bed and closed her eyes at how comfortable she was; she couldn't be bother unpacking and her wedding dress was safely hidden with her parents' things.

Taking in how peaceful it was, Katrina could only hope that there wouldn't be any fighting between the two families like the last time that they had both met.

Mesut's father was a problem and Katrina wasn't looking forward to seeing him when she got up for breakfast in the morning; she could only imagine what he would have to say about all of this.

The sound of the bedroom door closing made Katrina jump and she opened her eyes to see Mesut; she hadn't been expecting him for a few more hours since his flight had felt after hers.

The couple smiled at one another before Mesut dropped his own bag and walked across the room; he kissed Katrina, he had missed her while he had been away and was so happy to be with her again.

"How are you? And our little girl?" Mesut asked when he pulled back from Katrina, he had missed them and he had been keeping up with her pregnancy over the phone and by skype.

The Euros had been long and Mesut was relieved that he was here now to focus on Katrina and their baby; he had their honeymoon planned away from their families.

It had disappointed him that he hadn't been there when Katrina had found out that they were going to have a little girl; they hadn't been sure if they had wanted to know but a slip up from the doctor meant that Katrina had found out.

"We're fine... better now that you are here," Katrina said sure that their families would find some way to drive them up the walls; she was already dreading the moment that they had breakfast with them.

Mesut rested a hand on her bump, his fingers brushing against the soft skin that held his child; he loved feeling their baby kick and he was so happy that he was here and that in a couple of days' time they would be married.
