CHAPTER 6

"A funeral...?" I muttered "Miku...! Don't leave me..!" that voice! I turned and I saw my dad crying I walked slowly to his direction but then I heard another voice. "Dad..." I turned and saw myself, however it is a 12 years old me. The 12 years old me reached for my father but he slapped my hand away "Don't touch me you filthy child." I closed my eyes as tears stung my eyes.

I opened my eyes again but this time I was by the seashore, I looked around and saw a 13 year old me walking on the sands with a red head boy. "Rin..?" the 13 year old me called "What?" he responded "I'm leaving Australia this Sunday." "What?!" he shouted and he grabbed my shoulders "Why didn't you tell me?!" "Because...." and my eyes got teary.

"She's dead...." the doctor announced and everyone in outside widened there eyes, and there a 15 years old me also widen her eyes. 

RRRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!

I jolted awake with sweat covering my face. 'Did I just dreamt about those incidents?' I thought as I placed a palm on my forehead "Mizu breakfast is ready!" mom called, and I walked out of my bed. 

I sat myself on the table as mom served the breakfast. "Rin called awhile ago." she said "RIN?!" I shouted but not so loud as I abruptly stood from my seat, and my mom giggled "H-how..? Wh-when? When did he came back?!" I asked "Well I don't know but he left a message." and my ears instantly perked up "What did he say?!" "Well he said that he'd meet you at the train station here in Iwatobi today, 10:00 am." mom said as she seated herself infront of me, I turned at the clock and it read 8:30 am. "Mizu, I think you should get dressed now..~" mom said as she winked at me "W-wha..." I stuttered as I felt blood rose on my cheeks, but then I remembered "How about dad..?" I asked with a gloomy voice "Don't worry I'll take care of him.~" and she winked yet again.

I glanced at my watch and it read 9:45 am. Well I guess I am too early. I sat myself on the bench by the train station waiting silently for Rin. I glanced at my wrist watch and it read 9:50. Rin should be here soon. And then a shadow towered above me. I looked up and saw a boy with red hair "Rin..?" I asked, the boy smiled "Hey long time no see!" he said as he ruffled my hair "Hey!" I protested as I tried to squat his hands away from my head, but failed. "Eh still short as ever." he commented "We finally meet again and yet the issue here is still my height?!" I shouted as I pouted. 

We rode the train in silence, but in a comfortable silence. "What's with the clothes?" Rin asked "Mom forced me into it." I said with a sigh. I am currently wearing: a white miniskirt, a peach sleeveless lacy top and baby blue sandals. "Well you look okay though." Rin said, I looked up to him and saw him... blushing? And I also felt my cheeks heating up. "Uhm! Wh-what's t-the plan f-for today? I-I'm sure you didn't called out o-of b-blue for n-nothing!" I stuttered quickly looking down to hide my face from Rin. "Samezuka." the speaker went off and the doors of the train slid open. Rin stood up and I followed suit.

 "So what now..?" I asked "Well can you accompany for a little while somewhere." he replied "Sure." and I flashed a big smile.

The sound of the whistle sounded and a loud splash followed. Could it be...... "Rin..!" I muttered in horror as I gripped his arm "Don't worry I'll be on your side." he said as he patted my head, I nodded. 

"Oi Rin you're late!" a boy with crimson rehd hair and eyes shouted "Sory, sorry, I cam to pick her up." Rin replied as he gestured towards me "You're girlfriend?" he asked Rin and I felt my cheeks became hot "N-no I-I'm ju-just his f-friend." I denied and he chuckled "Well take good care of her Rin."he said, I turned to Rin and he nodded. My heart beat picked up its pace and started to beat like crazy. "Well we're leaving." he said as he placed his hand on my back leading me to the exit. "Who told ou to leave?!" the red head shouted "Me." came Rin's reply "Rin." I said and he looked down on me "Yes?" "Attend the practice." I said in a stern voice "But how about you...." he said with a worried voice "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine..... I guess...." I replied and the last part came as a whisper. Then Rin faced the red head and said "Fine." and I smiled. And he disappeared to the changing room.

After few minutes Rin came out on his swimming gear. "Hurry up Rin!" the red head demanded "Yeah yeah whatever...." and Rin walked to the pool. My eyes widen as I felt something weird on my stomach. I hate this nauseous feeling. In the sound of the whistle Rin jumped on the pool. He still looks beautiful....

I stared at him until someone beside me spoke "Heh, you like him don't you?" My eyes widen again and quickly turned to my side and saw the red head "Wh-wha- HUH?!" I stuttered and he chuckled "Now, now..." and I puffed my cheeks "How cute of you.~" he commented "By the way I am Mikoshiba Seijuro, Samezuka's swimming club captain." he said as he held out his hand to me "Megami Mizu." and I took his hand for a handshake. "Well I guess those from Iwatobi are late." he said as he scratched the back of his head. "Iwatobi?!" I echoed

"Huh? You know them?"  

"I go to Iwatobi High School." 

"I see. Ah, they're here." and he gestured towards the entrance, there stood, Haruka-kun, Nagi-chan, Mako-chan and Gou-chan. 

Haruka-kun and my eyes met and both of our eyes widen in utter shock.

"Haruka-kun?" "Mizu?"
