I thought of Noah all night last night. I think I'm finally over Benny. Probably.
I went to the Sandlot and saw Mary playing. What the hell?!
Are they replacing me? No. They couldn't be I pitch the fastest in town.
"Hi." I said. Benny ran up.
"Hey Lans. What are you doing here?" He asked. I gave a shocked look.
"I just wanna watch. I also came to tell you I'm going out on a date with someone." I said stepping back.
"What? Who?" He asked jealous.
"Noah." I said.
"The guy on Phillips team?" He asked.
"Yes." I said.
"But. But."
"But what?" I asked.
"I like you." He said.
"What?" I said.
"I like you." He said.
"Benny-"
"No. I'm talking. I like you and I wanna be with you. I broke up with Laurel." He said grabbing my hand.
"I wanna be with you too." I said.
He picked me up and spun me around.
"So, are you my girlfriend now?" He asked.
"Yes." I said. He hugged me.
