I was playing baseball with they guys. It was Bennys turn.

"Go easy one me babe." He told me.

"Not a chance. Babe." I said then threw a fast ball. He hit something. It wasn't a homer though. He hit a girl walking by. We ran up to her.

"I am so sorry!" He exclaimed grabbing her hands and helping her up. I could tell they were attracted to each other. Smalls must have noticed cause he put his hand on my shoulder.

"It's okay. I'll only get bruised." She said.

"How do you know?" He asked.

"I'm studying to be a doctor." She said.

"Wow." He said.

"Thanks." She said. Then I remembered I was suppose to babysit.

"Shit! I gotta go. I'm babysitting Lily Peffercorn." I said.

"Can I come with?" Squints asked.

"Hmm, am I gonna let you stalk Wendy Peffercorn? No." I said.

"Worth a shot." He said. I smiled.

Then I kissed Benny. "Later babe. Love ya." I said. He kissed my forehead.

"Love you too." He said. Then I went home and changed into shorts and a crop top. Then I walked to the Peffercorns.

I knocked on the door. Wendy answered.

"Hey Lans. Come in." She said. I walked in. I saw the cute two year old Lily.

"Hi Lily." I said. She held up her arms. She wanted me to pick her up. I lifted her up and set her in my hip.

"Thanks again for babysitting Alana." Mr. Peffercorn said.

"No problem sir." I said. Then they left.

I set Lily down and she ran to the living room. A little kiddie show was on. I hate black and white. Why couldn't it be in color??

Wendy came out of her room in a dress and heels.

"Well, I gotta leave for a date. Bye Alana." She said.

"Bye. Tell me how it went when you h back." I called.

"Will do." She said then left. Lily started getting hungry so I grabbed a jar of baby food and put her in her high chair.

Then I heard a knock on the door. I opened it. It was Alan.

"Hey Yeah Yeah. What do you want?" I asked.

"Squints asked me come spy." Yeah Yeah rolled his eyes.

"Well, unless you followed her car about fifteen minutes ago you won't be able to. She went on a date." I told him. Then Lily started whining.

Yeah Yeah walked in. I took her out of the high chair.

She wanted Yeah Yeah to hold her. She has a little baby crush on my brother.

"Oh. Sucks for Squints." He said.

"Yeah. Oh well." I shrugged.

"Anyway. I gotta go. Benny wants to hang out." He said.

"Alright. Bye bro." I said.

"Later sis." He replied then left.

I babysat for a few more hours then Wendy came back and told me leave.

"Wait. First. Tell me about the date." I said. She sat down on the couch.

"It was great. It was with Dave Anderson." She smiled.

"Thats great. Did you kiss?" I asked.

"If you must know. Yes." She said.

"Yay! I get to live vicariously." I exclaimed. She laughed.

"Aren't you dating that Benny guy?" She asked.

"Yeah." I sighed.

"He is cute. But what's with the sigh?" She asked.

"We met this girl today. They had a little moment." I said.

"Well, I'm sure he loves you. Don't worry about it." She said.

"Thanks Wends. I better go. Bye." I told her. .

"Bye." She said. Then I walked home.

I went into my room and plopped down on the bed. I heard a clang sound.

I looked out my window. Yeah Yeah.

"What?" I asked him.

"Let me in. The doors locked and I left my key in my room." He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Alright. I'm coming." I said Then went down the stairs and opened the door. He came in and locked the door.
"Thanks." He said.

"Whatever." I said. Then went to my room and fell asleep.
