Accidents Happen [14]

Paige

So, Seth and I have been on a break. It just wasn't working out at the moment. But we still hang out with each other. We still live together in my apartment, he just sleeps in a separate room. I still have the engagement ring but, I haven't been wearing it. We aren't getting married for all I know.

It is a week before SummerSlam and I finally get my shot for the Divas Championship against Nikki. Thank you, Stephanie for getting me that opportunity. Today is Sunday, so it is exactly a week until the pay per view. All of the girls got together just to hang out. Seth decided to tag along. I don't think he loves me anymore, but a tiny part of me wants to believe that he does.

We are currently at a restaurant and it's not that fancy so, it was kind of like McDonalds, kind of not. Now, I don't know why I was thinking what I was thinking, but I'm kinda suicidal I guess. I mean it's not really bad, but it's bad. "What if I got hit by a car or something?" Everyone looks at me like I'm nuts. Seth isn't paying attention, which is kind of what I was hoping.

"And why are you asking this?" Bayley asks. Alexa takes one look at me and already knows what I'm thinking. "She wants to figure out if Seth still loves her," Bliss says, "She doesn't really wanna die, but just test him." I see the girls nod. Sasha kinda gives me a look that says, let's try it. "Sasha what are you thinking?" Nikki asks.

"I have a friend who drives in like NASCAR. Maybe he can help with this..." "But Paige doesn't want to get hurt," Brie interrupts. I look at Brie, then Sasha. "Don't worry, he won't really hit you hard. You just have to sell it." I nod. It's a crazy idea but it might work. Sasha then calls her friend.

"He'll be here in like twenty minutes," Sasha exclaims. Seth has been on a phone call the whole time, so he's clueless. I can't believe I'm gonna go through with this. Obviously this guy won't hurt me, but I'm still nervous. What if something goes wrong? There's always that possibility. Seth finally gets of the phone and we change the subject. 

"So what are you guys talking about?" He asks. All the girls look at each other. "Um we are talking about you and Paige," Alexa says. I hit Alexa in the head and Seth then gives me a look. "What do you not like me or something?" Seth questions. I shake my head, "No... No that's not what I meant. It's just a bit awkward to talk about right now." He rolls his eyes and leaves the restaurant. 

"Seth please," I say, following him into the parking lot, "That's not what I meant. I still love..." That's is when I am struck by something. I assume it's a car and it was going really quick, so whoever was driving wasn't paying attention. I had shut my eyes when I got hit and I now slowly open them. I can't feel anything. I can hear people yelling my name and see people start to crowd me.

"SARAYA!" I hear Bliss yell. I then close my eyes and the noise around me begins to go away...

Seth

"Seth please,"  I hear Paige say, "That's not what I meant. I still love..." That is when I hear a thud and hear screaming. I turn around and see Paige lying in the ground a couple feet away from me. The girls then go towards her, Alexa being the first one there. "SARAYA!" Bliss exclaims, kneeling next to her friend.

I run over to Paige and kneel next to her. I look towards the area the car came from and see the driver backing up and driving away. Luckily, Sasha took a picture of the licence plate. "It's gonna be okay, Saraya," I say, holding her, "It's gonna be okay." Bayley called 911 and they are on their way. Paige is bleeding from places that I can't tell, it's that bad. She got scratched up real badly.

The ambulance finally arrives and takes Paige to the hospital. I see Bayley and Sasha hugging Alexa, trying to calm her down. Bliss has known Paige for years and from how hard she got hit and the injuries she has, it's very bad. Paige wasn't dead, but her breathing was very slow and light. You could barely see her chest rising and falling.

We all drive to the hospital where they took Paige and sit in the waiting room. This is very extreme. After what seemed like hours, a doctor finally comes in. "Colby and Alexis?" I look at Bliss and we walk over to the doctor. 

"How is she?" Bliss asks. I look at Bliss, then the doctor. I can see that something is wrong. "We had to do repair a few things. She had a dislocated left shoulder, she had a fractured skull, her right foot was broken, her neck and her spine is a bit messed up. Her having scoliosis doesn't help." 

"Anything else? Recovery time?" I ask. The doctor then frowns, "The recovery time would be around two months. Then she can start training and be back by November... If she wakes up..." Alexa then gives him a look. "What do you mean by that?" 

"Saraya is in a coma," The doctor tells us. "She is very lucky to have survived." I nod and Alexa does the same. We go back to the waiting room and Alexa sits next to me. "So what happened?" Sasha questions. Alexa shakes her head and then begins to cry. I hug her and try to calm her down. I then explain to Sasha, Nikki, Brie, and the other girls what happened.

"Oh my god. No," Sasha says, hugging a crying Becky. I feel really bad for Becky. Paige and her are really close. I then text Julia about what happened. That was the hard part.

Seth: Hey Julia, it's Seth. I just wanted to tell you that Paige got hit by a car earlier today. She's in a coma. I know you don't want to hear this, but I had to tell you. She had several injuries also. Just wanted to let you know.

Julia: Are you serious? Oh my god. I'll be there tomorrow.

I also decided to text Stephanie and Hunter. They obviously had to know what happened. 

Seth: Hey Steph and Hunter. Just had to tell you that Paige is in a coma. She got hit by car earlier today. She's lucky to be alive right now. We don't know if she will wake up so.

Hunter: that's terrible. This isn't good. 

Steph: No! I don't have anything to do at RAW tomorrow. I'll be in Florida tomorrow. 

Seth: you sure?

Hunter: yes. She'll go and I'll meet you guys there on Wednesday. I'll pray for Paige

Steph: yea, me too. See you tomorrow, Seth.

Wow. This is very overwhelming. I'm just hoping that she wakes up. She's only twenty-two, basically twenty-three. Her birthday is tomorrow. She was going to get a title shot on Sunday. That opportunity is gone. She's too young to die. She means a lot to everyone. Everyone needs her. The fans, her friends, her family, and I. We all need her.  I can't lose her so soon...

A/N: Hey guys! So this chapter is amazing. Lolz I left you guys off on a cliff hanger. I'm currently listening to some rock music. It helps me write. Anyways the next chapter will also be good. I start school on Monday. So after Battleground, I go straight to bed and go to hell the next day. So I'll update when I can. Please go and read Watch The Thrones by TheKingsArrival.
