The Knight Dynasty Rises [7]

So I had to stay over night just to make sure everything was okay. They had to run a few more tests. Now I am in the car with Colby, driving to my parents house. My shoulder has been wrapped up and so has my left foot. I'm on crutches for a week... Yay! Haha no. I hate crutches so much. They gave me more pain killers for my back, too. This will suck so much. We arrive at my parents house and I don't even feel like getting out of the car.

But I do anyway. Seth carries me upstairs. I then take a nap for maybe about an hour. When I wake up, I hear that my family is out in the backyard. I go downstairs and see Seth wrestling my brother. That was funny. My other brother got involved and then my dad did, too. Even my mum joined in. I went outside and started to wrestle.

As you can tell, even if I'm injured, I'm gonna wrestle. I put the PTO on my mum. "Tap!" I yell. She refuses, so I tighten my grip. "Tap bitch!" Yes, my family cusses a lot. So I don't ever get slapped or beaten if I cuss my family out. My mum finally taps out. "Next time, you'll be the one tapping out," Mum says. I start to laugh.

I go back inside and sit on the couch. Seth comes over to me, "What's on your mind, Miss Paige?" I laugh a little. "Oh just thinking how it would be amazing if my family could wrestle at a house show. It would help them bring in more money, you know." Wrestling is my family's only source of income. Sometimes I have to send money. Ever since I went to WWE, they've been pretty successful. But it still isn't enough.

"Well why don't you ask Hunter? He probably won't mind. It might help your family and WWE bring in some money," Seth suggests. I nod. That's not a bad idea to ask Hunter, but who knows what he'll say. I decided to text Hunter; I just hope he responds:

Paige: Hey Hunter. Sorry to bother you, but I had a question. I was wondering if my family could wrestle at a house show? I mean, think about it. More fans will come, bring in more money. It would also help my family. Maybe I can be Britani Knight for the night. Haha. I might be injured, but you know I can wrestle, no matter what obstacle is in my way. Hope you consider this idea. Thanks

I send the text and turn my phone off. Now I just have to wait. I wanted to make myself useful for a once in my life, and that's when I see some of my nieces and nephews. "Hey my little angels," I say, "Who wants to have a fun day with Auntie Raya?" All of they're faces light up. "Go ask your parents and we'll be on our way," I tell them. They all run over to Zak and Roy. See this is what tears me apart. I want kids but I don't want kids.

I drive the kids to the nearest park and let them play for a little bit. As I'm sitting there, my phone goes off. I see that it's a text. A text from Hunter. I quickly unlock my phone and read the text:

Hunter: Hello Paige. Sorry I didn't respond right away. Steph hasn't really been 100% as of late, so I had to be with her. As for your idea, it's a great one. We will do it but as for you wrestling... we cannot risk it. I know you have wrestled with injuries before and you probably wrestled with your family today. But we want you to be all healed up in case something happens, like a championship opportunity. I'm pretty sure Steph has been trying to get you a title shot.

I reread the text multiple times. I'm happy that my family is getting a chance to wrestle in WWE. But I just don't wanna be on the sidelines for a while. The fact that Stephanie is trying to get me in the title picture is nice. I mean we are very close, which is pretty hard in general when you're in this business. She has helped me through a lot of things. So has Hunter, so I guess I'm kind of like a daughter to them? I don't know.

I respond to Hunter's text:

Paige: Hii. Thank you, I will tell my family about this. But seriously, why can't I wrestle? Yes, I did wrestle today, you know me too well. Come on, Hunter. Please?? And what's wrong with Steph? Is she okay? I'm kinda worried now...

Hunter: Paige we cannot risk it. You are not going to wrestle. That's the final decision. Steph... um it's complicated. She'll probably tell you about it soon. But she's okay.

Paige: fine. promise?

Hunter: promise

Paige: alright

I put my phone away and continue to watch my nieces and nephews play. We eventually go and have lunch and eat ice cream. Life couldn't be better. One of my nephews suggested that we go to a trampoline park, so that's what we did. I mean, I don't see them often. We got back to my parent's house just in time for dinner.

I decided to go and take a nap since today was just a fun day. Soon, the Knight Dynasty will rise.

*House Show*

I walk backstage to my family to my family and I's locker room. Yes, I'm walking around without my crutches. I despise them. It's time for them to show the WWE Universe what the Knight Family is made of. Even though I'm not suppose to wrestle, I have my gear on. Well, I have some sweats and a shirt on so I don't get caught. At least I am allowed to be at ringside and escort them to the ring.

"Raya, thank you again for this opportunity," may dad says. I nod, "Well you can thank Hunter for this. He was the one who made it happen. I just asked him about it." He nods and hugs me before I walk around again. Eventually, I find The Authority's office. I knock on the door; no response. I know Hunter is walking around the arena, but Stephanie has to be in their office. I knock again, still no response.

I decide to go in anyways. Yea, I know it sounds like I'm being rude. But Steph and Hunter know it's me, since they've helped through a lot. They only allow me to go in without an explanation. I look around the room. It's dark, which seems weird.

"Steph? You here?" I ask. I turn the lights on a little bit and see Steph sleeping on the couch that was in their office. I understand how tired she is, I mean, she's so busy with WWE and taking care of her daughters. Even training at midnight. She barely has time to sleep. But what I don't understand is why she would be sleeping at work. She isn't that type of person. Hunter did say she wasn't feeling like herself lately.

I walk over to Steph. I accidentally hit something and it makes a noise. I see Stephanie slowly open her eyes. "Hey Stephanie," I say, kind of nervously since I woke her up. She sits up and looks at me, a small smile on her face. "Hey Paige." She doesn't even seem mad. "Um, how you feeling? Hunter said you haven't been 100% lately," I say.

"Um I've been okay. Just a lot of things going on," she exclaims. I sit down next her. "You can tell me anything, you know. Since you've helped me so much, it would only be fair right?" I say. She nods and then puts head in her hands, closing her eyes.

"Steph?" Now I'm concerned. "I'm fine, just a bit dizzy," she says, "Do you really want to know?" I nod, no shit I wanna know. "Well... I'm pregnant," she tells me. I look at her and smile. "Congrats Steph!" I exclaim while hugging her. She happened to miscarry with her last pregnancy, which was kind of recent. She smiles, "Don't tell any of the girls yet. I want it to be a surprise. Now go have fun," she says. I hug her one more time before going to get my family.

"Lets go guys, time to show the WWE Universe what the Knight Dynasty is made of!" I say. Hunter looks at me and smiles a little. As my family walks to gorilla, I whisper to Hunter, "Congrats on having another kid. Steph told me. I won't tell anyone until she's ready." He nods and lets me go with my family.

Here we go.

*After the Match*

Well we killed it out there! Yes, I wrestled. Do I care if Hunter is mad? Nope. He knows it was a good match. I just don't wanna go back to the states. Oh well, we are coming back in the winter. This was fun. Well until someone I never wanted to see again shows up. Great... He's been following me. He better stay as far away from me as fucking possible...
