So That Happened [6]

Paige

I'm backstage at RAW, waiting for my match. My family is in the front row to watch me compete tonight. I finish with hair and makeup and thank the makeup team. I start to lace up my Union Jack Dr. Martens that AJ bought me. I warm up and get stretched.

RAW goes to commercial and my opponent goes to the ring. Becky and I have great chemistry in the ring. We've wrestled each other since I was eighteen and since she was twenty-four. She got a big pop from the crowd, but I know that everyone will be happy to see me. RAW goes back on the air and they show Becky on the screen. I hear my music go on and I walk out on stage.

The crowd went crazy. I walk down to the ring and do my signature scream. I smile and wave to my family. The bell rings and the match gets started right away. Becky and I lock up, people know it's going to be a good match. We throw a punches and kicks. I German her a few times and Becky bulldogs me.

I eventually win the match, but what happens next isn't planned. Suddenly when the referee is raising my hand, I'm thrown out of the ring and hit the floor. I am in pain. I landed on my left shoulder really hard. I cannot feel my left arm. I've injured it in NXT and had to get surgery, but this just like that times ten.

I am then thrown to the ground multiple times and my head is being hit on the barricade. Someone different then lifts me and drives my back into the ring post. I can see that Becky is trying to stop whoever is attacking me, but fails. Then I'm thrown into the barricade twice, knocking it down. The amount of pain I'm in is unbearable. I lay motionless on the floor, my vision blurry.

I black out for a few seconds until my nieces and nephews crying . Oh, they are probably worried that I'm not okay. Which I'm not. I can see the doctors coming to my aid, asking me a bunch of questions. I simply don't answer any of them. They help me stand up and I start limping and wincing in pain. Great, mt left foot is messed up, too.

I look over to see Becky come over to me and help me backstage. I notice that there are multiple referees holding Naomi and Tamina back. They attacked me for no reason. Oh I'm gonna have a fun time killing them both. As soon as I am backstage, Seth picks me up and takes me to where the doctors are. If Seth wasn't here, I probably would have passed out trying to walk over to the doctors.

He puts me down so that I am lying on my back. All the doctors are trying to ask me a bunch of questions. I cannot handle all of this anymore. I slowly start to blackout and pray that I don't die because of the pain...

*5 Minutes Before*

I'm watching Paige's match backstage and she's doing pretty well. She is set to win her match, which does not surprise me at all. You know, since we are in England. If she lost, the fans over here would probably riot. Paige puts Becky in the PTO and she taps out. The crowd goes crazy. The referee raises Paige's arm.

Then Naomi hits her and throws her out of the ring. Tamina and Naomi are attacking her for no reason. Becky tries to fight them off but fails. Doctors go over to Paige and help her up. Becky helps her backstage and I immediately pick her up. I lay her down in the doctor's office.

The look in her eyes doesn't say that she is okay. "Paige, hang in there. Everything will be alright," I say, with desperation in my voice for her not to faint. She tries to keep her eyes open but it just doe not happen. She slowly close her eyes, blacking out. I start to panic, wondering if she will be okay.

"Get the medics, she needs to be taken to the hospital right now," I hear the doctor say. I assume that she blacked out because she is in shock. I mean, she just got attack and it damn well was not scripted. Maybe it was but Becky and Paige never knew. I want to go with her in the ambulance but one, I have a match. Two, I want to yell at the Authority.
