Epic Return [18]

Paige

Tonight is Survivor Series! I'm so excited. I have been waiting for this day for a while now. No one knows I'm here, not even Seth. He thinks that I am at the Performance Center in Orlando training. That is why I am hiding in Stephanie and Hunter's bus. No one checks their bus, so it was the perfect place for me to hide.

My match will for Bayley's title. She is doing an open challenge for it. Since Seth has been so busy as of late, I would just hang out with friends that lived in Orlando while I was recovering from all the bullshit that happened a few months back. I went to a few concerts including A Day To Remember. I hung out with Kevin a lot backstage for the three shows he was here for. Whenever Seth was around, we went out to eat and did adult things, if you know what I mean.

Anyways, I am already in gear even though the match isn't for about another hour. I am obviously watching the pay per view on the network, some of the matched are supposed to be good. I was on my phone when I heard a familiar voice, "Hey Paige. It's Stephanie." I looked up from my phone and smile. We then embrace in a hug. "I'm so excited! This whole secretive shit is fun, too," I tell her. 

"And you, Steph," I say, "You look amazing!" Steph smiles a little bit. Hey if I have a kid, I wanna look that good when I'm pregnant. Ugh Stephanie is the definition of goals in everything. We started tot talk about how the match would go and what the plans were leading up to WrestleMania 32. The fact that Mania is only five months away is crazy.

Somehow we got from talking about wrestling to talking about her and Hunter back in the early 2000's, Hunter was such an idiot back then. "So wait. He did what?" Steph started blushing and smiling. "He was picking me up from my house one time on our off day, and I could see him from my window. He was trying to impress me while I went out on the balcony of my room. The next thing you know, my dog started to chase him," she says, "He didn't get far."

So yea, apparently Steph's dog attacked him and Vince had to try to get the dog off of Hunter. They both fell in the pool. I could not stop laughing at some of the other stories I heard. We both were just dying of laughter. I then heard a knock on the door of the bus, "Come in!" I managed to say. 

Hunter comes on the bus and sees Steph and I basically going crazy of laughter. "Why are you guys laughing?" he asks us. "Well your wife has some very funny stories about you from when you two were dating," I tell him. He then starts to laugh. Haha I bet those were the days they had the most fun. "Okay well, it's time to get you in the arena. You ready?" he asks. I nod in response, "Lets do this." 

I put on a jacket and sweatpants before getting off the bus, making sure I put the hood on my head. We took a totally different way into the arena and to gorilla. It was very interesting. By the time we get there, Bayley is already making her entrance to the ring. "Time to shock everyone," Steph tells me. "Thank you for the opportunity," I say and hug The Authority. "Now go and kill it out there," Hunter tells me. I nod and wait for my music to blast through the arena.

I quickly take off the jacket and sweatpants since I would go out any minute. Once I hear the beginning of my theme, I look back at the power couple and smile. I then go out to the ring. Oh my god, that crowd was so amazing. They were just as good as if I was back in England. Bayley was even in shock. I bet the whole locker room is shocked. Not as shocked as Seth probably is.

The bell rings and the match begins. Let's make the most of this match.

Seth

So I am in the locker room watching the Divas Championship match that is about to start, when suddenly, I hear Paige's theme play. I thought it was a joke, but that is when I see her go out to the ring. Holy shit! I thought she was in Orlando. Why didn't she tell me anything? The whole locker room was shocked, even Bayley was shocked.

"Where the hell did she come from?" I hear Sasha ask. "She was probably hiding," Bliss says. All of her friends were talking about it. The whole locker room was talking about it. Wow. I ran down to gorilla during the match and saw Hunter and Steph watching the match. "Hey. Why is Paige out there? I thought she was in Orlando." Stephanie then proceeded to explain the whole situation.

I can see why she didn't tell me. It wouldn't be a secret if I knew. I see Bayley do her famous Bayley-to-Belly and she gets the pin on Paige. "Here's your winner and still your Divas Champion, Bayley!" Lillian Garcia announces. Even though Bayley won, she ended up raising Paige's arm. The crowd was just great. They cheered Paige while she went backstage. 

As soon as I saw her, I ran over to her and picked her up, hugging her and spinning her around. I then kissed her on the lips. She returned the favor. "I'm so proud of you," I tell her. She smiles and puts her head on my shoulder. "I'll explain everything to you after your match. Now go get ready, sexy," Paige tells me. I kiss her on the forehead before I started stretching.

I won my match obviously. Retaining my title. But something went wrong during that match. I ended up landing a weird way, causing my knee to just give out. The referees helped me backstage and I saw Paige waiting there for me. She helped me to the doctors area, which I awaited my fate. "Hey, it's gonna be alright," I say to her, wiping a tear from her face.

Paige hasn't really seen me hurt before, well not this bad. The doc checks me and says I need to go to the hospital and get x-rays done. I am then helped to a wheelchair where I wait for Paige. She went to get our bags and put them in the car before coming to get me. The hospital already knows I am coming, so they knew what to expect. 

Paige helps me get in the car and I can see that she is a bit shaken up about what happened. "Calm down, alright? I don't need you stressing out right now. Everything is gonna be okay." She nods and kisses me before she starts driving to the hospital. 

Man, I just hope that I won't be out for long. I already can tell I need surgery. I want to get back to that ring soon. At least I will have the best person in my life looking after me.
