Ups And Downs [12]

Paige

It's been a few months and it's been hectic. The wedding just keeps getting pushed farther and farther back. I don't even know what day it's gonna be on, it's that far back. Seth and I have gotten into a lot of arguments recently, which makes me think that he doesn't really love me anymore. I mean, I know he does but we kinda just drifted apart you know?

Anyway, it's currently Thursday, which means it's our day off. Seth has been a bit pissy lately and is ignoring me. I really don't know what's wrong or why he suddenly had this mood change. I decided to arrange something with the girls and Seth is gonna tag along. I drive to the place and Seth and I don't speak to each other at all.

We arrive shortly after our destination. It's an ATV place. They're fun to ride so why not. The girls were there waiting for us. "Sup bitches," Bliss says. I laugh a little and hug her. We get the things we need and go on the ATV's. Bayley gets on the back of mine and we drive off into the sunset. I'm joking but we drive around the property for a while.

"You are going very fast," Bayley exclaims, "We don't want a repeat of what happened with the motorcycle." Basically, I went to fast on a motorcycle and crashed. Yea she's right. I roll my eyes. "Well do you want to get off?" I ask. "Yes please," I hear her say. I go to where the others are and drop her off there. Bayley gets off and goes over to the girls. 

"Anyone else wanna hop on the back?" I ask, looking at Seth. "Nah, I'm good. Someone else can go with you," Seth says, not looking up from his phone. I turn the ATV off and get off. I walk over to him and stand right in front of him. He then looks up from his phone and looks at me. "Who you texting?" I question. "No one," He responds. That is when I grab his phone and walk with it.

"Saraya, give me my phone!" He yells. I read through his texts and see the name Zahra. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" I say, throwing Colby's phone at him. He picks his phone up and looks at me. "It's not what you think..." "No really? Then why would you even have her number?" I walk back to the ATV and get on. "Paige please. Let me explain..." "Yea okay," I shoot back. I start up the ATV and drive off.

I know I probably over reacted but this is like the fifth time this has happened in the matter of two weeks. I don't know how long I've been driving but I suddenly lose control of the ATV and it ends up crashing. I get launched of that thing and hit the ground really hard. I end up rolling around for a while before I stop. That's when I close my eyes and black out.

Seth

Alexa walks up to me, fire in her eyes. "Okay, explain what just happened before I kick your ass." I sigh as I see the other girls looking at me. Even Bayley seems like she's ready to beat the living hell out of me. Nikki grabs my phone out of my hand and reads the text. "Why Zahra? Seriously what the hell is this?" Nikki questions.

"Okay first of all, I'm not cheating on her. Second of all, if you didn't know, she's an excellent artist. I was trying to get her paint a picture of Paige and I." The girls give me a look. "It's not my fault Paige overreacted. She just seems to be a bit sensitive right now..." That's when I start to realize why. "Oh shit." 

"What did you just realize why she is acting this way?" Sasha asks. I nod, feeling stupid. "She doesn't think you love her anymore," Sasha says, "The fights you guys have been having isn't helping her either." I give Sasha a look and she just smirks at me. "Um guys," Nikki says, "Look..." She points to the sky, noticing that there is smoke. "Fuck," Alexa says, "Paige probably crashed. And not on purpose." 

I start to run in the direction of the smoke. Sasha calls an ambulance and the rest of the girls follow me. We eventually find the vehicle she was driving, but she wasn't there. Bayley calls her phone. "Her ringtone is her theme music," Bayley says, "It will be easier to track her this way." Soon enough, we hear her theme.

'Tear the stars out from the sky. Darkness falls I come alive.'  

I run towards the music and see her. I bend down next to her, seeing that she is knocked out. I quickly pick her up and bring her over to where Sasha is. Paige starts to wake up in my arms and that is when she starts screaming. "PUT ME DOWN!" Paige yells, trying to squirm free, "I'M FINE! LET GO OF ME!" She hits me multiple times before giving up. "Raya calm down. Let them help you," I tell her. 

She lets the paramedics check her out and they clean her up. She avoids making any eye contact with me. Eventually, we drive back home and it was silent the whole way back. When we arrive home, she goes straight for our room and slams the door shut. I ordered some pizza, letting her chill for a little bit. I open the door to our room, bringing some pizza and soda with me. 

She is taking a nap, snuggling with all of her pets. She has five pets in all. Three cats and two dogs. Then there are my dogs Hermes and Kevin. Well, Hermes is our dog. I surprised her with him. She lifts her head up when I sit on the bed. "Yay, food!" She exclaims and takes the plate and cup from me. I laugh and smile. "You know I would never cheat on you, right?" I ask. She rolls her eyes. "Then what was that I saw?" She shoots back. 

"I was planning a surprise for you. That's all." I say. She looks at me and I know what she's thinking. "I'm sorry about overreacting. It's just that you've been ignoring me and..." She looks down, "I don't think you love me anymore." I see a few tears roll down her cheeks. I wipe her eyes. "I'm sorry. Things have just been hectic. I still love you. Don't you ever think that ever again." She smiles at me.

The rest of the night we played on the Xbox One playing WWE 2K16 and Just Dance 2016. I beat her most of the time in both games. She won a few on her own. I let her win a few times, which she hates when I do that. She fell asleep on me while we were on the couch. So that's where we spent the night, on our couch.
