Back at the Phantomhive household, Ciel was still searching for you. It's now been three whole days since your kidnaping and nothing has changed. He still had this feeling of guilt within him.

Ciel was in his office waiting for Sebastian to come back with more possible news of you. Depression slowly consumed him. He sat in his chair while doing some paperwork to pass the time but no matter what he did, he kept his thoughts on you.

'Ever since (Y/N) came into my life I have a reason to smile. I have long forgotten to laugh as if I were having fun, and she healed me.'

Meanwhile, Sebastian and Laura were out in town searching for more possible clues. They've been there since you've been taken away by the cloaked people.

Sebastian asked an elderly woman if she has seen anything that might look unordinary or if she has seen the cloaked people herself. She shook her head no in response and walked away.

Laura was looking through alleys and uncrowded places. She asked everyone in sight and they all gave the same answer: they haven't seen anything. She was beginning to loose hope and sat down on a box in an alley.

"Excuse me." Someone whispered.

Laura looked to the noise and saw a little boy about nine years old. "Yes?"

The little boy came closer to Laura and slowly sat next to her. "Are you the one looking for a kidnapped girl?"

Laura's eyes widened. "I am. Whatever you know, please tell me."

He checked his surroundings and grabbed Laura's hand. "I can't tell you here because it's dangerous. My father knows more about this."

She followed the boy. She saw Sebastian and called him over to come with her. The boy led them to his house near a corner.

"Papa! Come down! It's important!" The boy yelled in his home.

His father quickly came down the stairs. "Edward, what ever it is—" He stopped as he saw Sebastian and Laura. "Tell them to go away. I have nothing to tell them."

The boy now named Edward pulled his dad's sleeve. "Please, Papa. We can help them. It's not right to not help someone."

His father sighed. "Have a seat, then. Edward, get some tea."

"Thank you." Laura and Sebastian said at the same time.

Edward came back with some teacups for everyone. He handed each cup to each person.

"Why are you here?" The father asked.

"We are here to ask you if you have seen a girl being kidnapped by cloaked people recently." Sebastian said.

The man hesitated to answer, but did. "I... I have seen something. I saw five cloaked people a few days ago. I was outside my house sweeping and one of them had a big bag over their shoulders. The person tripped and the bag slightly opened and a girl came out. They quickly stuffed her back in and noticed I saw them. One of them not carrying the girl came and asked me if I knew who she was and I said yes. I knew she was in relationship with the Earl and they must've known, too. They threatened me not to tell anyone, especially the Phantomhive's."

"How did they threaten you, sir?" Laura asked.

"They said they would murder my son." He said as Edward hugged him tightly. "Edward is all I have left since my wife left me."

Edward smiled at his father. "It's ok, Papa. You did the right thing."

Tears fell down the father's cheek. He hugged his son tighter and closer.
