50. Yes... Dear

The morning sun hit directly on your face. You yanked your bed sheet over your eyes and softly groaned, not wanting to wake up. You sighed and eventually put down the sheet and looked around your room. Something felt off about the whole setting, yet you couldn't tell what it could be.

A woman came into your room. She brought in a tray with some tea and a small muffin with a very aggravated expression.

"Good morning, miss. May I ask who are you?" You asked.

She kept looking at you with her navy blue eyes. "My name is Hannah Annafellows. I am the maid for the Trancy household." She set down the tray on next to you on the bed. "Drink your tea, Lady (Y/N)." She handed you the tea cup and you gladly took it.

You took a small sip from the tea cup and noticed she still had a weird expression on her face. "Thank you. Oh, and please just call me (Y/N), you can drop the 'Lady' part."

Hannah stayed quiet and placed your clothes for today out on top of the bed. "I shall dress you now, Lady (Y/N)."

"You dont have to. I can dress myself." You said nicely so she wouldn't get the wrong idea.

"If you say so, Miss." She said. Hannah grabbed the tray from your side without you even finishing the tea and began to walk out. "Your fiancé said to meet him for breakfast once you are done getting dressed."

"Thank you for letting me know, Hannah. I'll make sure to go right away then."

Once Hannah left you began to get dressed. Your outfit was the same as yesterday's, all exposed and with shorts but instead the blouse was a dark green color. You put everything on and made your way downstairs. Alois was already there and had a tedious look on his face while he tapped his fingers on the table.

He looked up once you sat down and instantly smiled. "Ah, (Y/N), my dear! You finally made it!" He held your hand and gave you a quick peck on the cheek. "I've been waiting for quite a while, so let's have breakfast now, shall we?"

"Mhmm. I am a bit hungry." You said.

Alois snapped his fingers and three triplets walked in with Claude right behind them. They each carried a tray with either food or a drink in hand and set it right in front of you two. They unveiled the meal and left right away. Claude stayed at Alois' side, though.

During the meal, you would look at your ring and question it. You didn't remember anything about a ring or anything about Alois, this place, the people, or anything at all ever since yesterday. When you tried to remember anything it would be blurry or there would be people missing. You started to play around with it by trying to twist it but you couldn't. Once you had a grip on it and were about to raise it up a hand grabbed your wrist tightly.

Claude was the one who did it. "Miss (Y/N), please refrain from touching your ring or attempting to taking it off." His glasses glared in the sunlight that entered the room. "If you do, there will be great consequences you would have to face."

The way he said everything gave off an uncomfortable feeling. "Yes, I understand."

"Good." He released his hand from your wrist and went back to his position.

Alois stained his lip afterward. He smirked and called for Hannah to wipe his lip and she instantly came in. As she cleaned his lip, Alois purposely spilled his cup. "Hannah, you idiot! Why did you spill my drink!" He slapped her and then pushed her down to the floor. "Can't you do anything right for once? What the hell are you here for, then?" He continued to abuse her by kicking Hannah in the stomach.

You didn't know what to do at the moment. It was all so sudden, so you just watched as it happened. You couldn't take it anymore once you could see her almost in tears so you stood up and got in front of Hannah before Alois could kick her again. He stopped once he saw you in front of her.
