48. Rescue Attempt

Sebastian and Laura ran as fast as they could back to their master. They wanted to tell Ciel quick.

"Master!" Sebastian said as he opened the office door. "We have possibly found the place where they are keeping (Y/N)."

Ciel stood up from his seat, shocked. "What are we waiting for? Gather the staff here for a plan!"

Sebastian bowed and went to get the staff in Ciel's office. He went to the kitchen first since it was closer to get Bard and Mey-Rin. Then went to the garden to get Finny, Snake, and Tanaka.

When they arrived, they formed a half circle around the desk and listened carefully to their master. They all were wondering why they were called here, but deep down, they somewhat knew why they were called.

Ciel paced back and forth until he thought of something to say and stopped where everyone could see him.

"Sebastian and Laura have found a lead to the possible place where (Y/N) is being held at. The place would most likely be a house or something abandoned in an open area with a type of cell. In order to get her back, we all must go to increase the probability of her escape. We don't know how many other cloaked people there are, so we need to be prepared for anything." Ciel said.

The others cheered.

Ciel continued. "I have a job for everyone. This plan will have a better chances of getting her back."

"'What do we do?' says Emily." Snake said.

"Mey-Rin, you will be on the outside guarding and being a diversion. Bard, Tanaka, and Laura will to the same while Snake, Sebastian, Finny, and I will be on the inside trying to get (Y/N) back." Ciel said. "We have to believe in our selves."

Finny shyly raised his hand. "Master, I don't think I should be with you to retrieve (Y/N). After what happened while I was with her last time, I—"

"Nonsense, Finny. We need you to be inside while we get (Y/N) back. Your strength will be needed in case you need to do anything." Ciel said.

"Alright." Finny said as he stroked his left arm.

"Off we go then." Ciel grabbed his cane and led everyone out to the outdoors. The others grabbed their own weapons and followed. '(Y/N), we're on our way....'

Sebastian and Laura showed the others the path they were shown by Edward's father. It was filled with trees and bushes with a little road leading only forward. Very little sunlight shone through to the ground.

They all walked until they finally reached an open, grassy field. Off to the side of the field was an abandoned house blended into its surroundings with the trees and grass. It wasn't small or big, but a decent size. They didn't get near it without finishing formulating the plan first.

"Everyone is clear on what their role is in this plan?" Ciel whispered to the others. They all nodded in response. "Excellent. Then let's begin."

While all of this was going on, you were still chained in the basement after the incident. You decided that all the chances of escaping were done and you've lost hope. Tonight you leave with Robert and the thought of it made your soul slowly die on the inside. There was nothing you could do but accept your fate.

Just then, a loud noise shook the ground. A massive hole where the door once stood and its surrounding wall crumbled on the floor. Spider came out of the hideout and saw no one else other than Ciel, Sebastian, and the others through the now gone doorway.
