51. Still Doesn't Feel Right

It was another day at the Trancy household and half a month went by. You woke up and did the usual of breakfast with Alois and spent the whole day with him either hearing him boast about his accomplishments or rant about the people he hated or just bragged in general about himself to you. He never really wanted to hear what you had to say or even value your opinion unless it affected him. You did feel like he was trying to keep you away from Hannah, so the only times you saw her was in the morning when she came into your room or passing by during the day and at night getting ready to sleep.

"Good morning, (Y/N)." Hannah said cheerfully. She has become nicer with the passing days to you. She looked down on your ring, wishing she could tell you everything.

You yawned from tiredness. "Good morning, Hannah. How are you today?"

She poured your tea in the cup and handed it to you. "I am fine, thank you. And you, (Y/N)?" You both went about talking and took forever to get ready since this is one of the only times you can both speak without Alois or Claude interfering.

When you were done getting dressed, Alois awaited you at the table again just like every morning. The same routine over and over again. It kind of made you... bored of life. Especially with the way he treated you at times. Sometimes he would be sweet and surprise you with gifts and kisses while other times he would be cold and ignorant.

"Good morning, my love!' Alois said as he got out of his chair and kissed you. You backed away from his kiss and smiled awkwardly, "What's wrong, love? Do you feel sick?"

"Just a little." That was a lie, The truth was you still didn't feel at home at your "home" here. Everything didn't feel right from the setting to the people to Alois' love for you. "Maybe it's because I didn't eat yet, so lets eat." You said with a smile, hoping that he would believe you.

"You're right, my apologies." He clapped his hands and the triplets came in.

They set the table and set the breakfast down. You and Alois began to eat with, again, Claude at his side. This time, he kept his eye on you as if you were to do something. The creepy thing was, he looked forward but looked at you through the corner of his eye.

"Hannah! Come here!" He yelled for Hannah as he slammed his golden silverware on the table.

Hannah came into the room and stood next to him. "Yes, master?"

Alois handed her a knife. "Can you cut my eggs better? I just can't seem to do it and I love the way you do it."

'Why can't he do it himself? He's more than capable of doing it...." You thought.

She quietly took his knife and began to cut his eggs. Alois watched her every move and smirked. He grabbed his beverage as if to drink from it but instead through it on himself.

"You idiot! Look at what you made me do!" Alois then got up from his chair and pushed Hannah to the floor. He kicked her even more and then reached for his knife and stabbed her eye out. It all happened so fast you couldn't do anything to help until you finally moved from shock and pulled him away from her.

"Alois! Stop! That's enough!" You yelled as you pulled him away from her.

He got aggravated and pinned you to the floor, eyeing you up and down. He lowered his face close to yours. "Don't interfere with me, (Y/N)." He let you go and you stood up quickly to help Hannah up.
