I sat in the library, finishing up my homework, when I felt something run past my feet. I jumped out of my seat and looked under the table, but there was nothing. Well... until I saw my bag move. I opened it a bit and saw a white puppy with a left black furry ear.

"Hi, there." He crawled close to my hand and sniffed it. I laughed and picked him up.
"Where did you come from?" All he did was tilt his head. I grabbed my things and left the library. I went outside and sat under a tree, with the puppy on my lap.
"What should I call you?" I asked him. I heard a bark from behind me and turned around to see Dude. Dude running towards me with Carlos behind him.
"Hi, Dude. Hi Carlos."
"Hey." Carlos sat beside me. He saw the white puppy and smiled.
"So, you got a dog?"
"I found him in the library."
"The library? What's a dog doing in the library?"

"I don't know, but I'm going to take care of him." I answered.
"What are you gonna name him?" Carlos asked.
"Carlos." I said.
"What?"
"I'm going to name him Carlos Buddy Andrew Jay II. Buddy for short."
"Really?"
"Really." I picked up Buddy. "Carlos, meet Buddy."
"You named a dog after me?" He looked honored.
"I name a dog after you." I smiled. Carlos gave me a hug, then left with Dude. I stayed and petted Buddy when I heard someone sit next to me. I looked to see Ethan.
"Hey." Ethan said.
"Hi, what's up?"
"I wanted to know, has anything strange been happening to you lately?" He asked.
"No, not really. Why?"
"I just feel like something or someone is watching me."
"That use to happen to me, but then I found out that it was our mother watching." I answered. We were silent for a moment.
"Hey, do you ever wonder how our father is?"
"Not really. But, now that you mention it, who is our father?" I asked.
"I don't know." Then he looked down to see Buddy sleeping on my lap.
"Hey, you found Unknown!"
"Unknown?"
"Yeah, he always runs around . Everyone tried to follow but he just disappears. People always wondered who his owner is, so we call him unknown."
"I'm his owner, now. This is Buddy"
"Well, good. I gotta go. See you, later." He left. I got up carefully not to wake up Buddy and went back to my room. I climbed my ladder and set Buddy down on my bed. I decided to make a little dog house for him.

I picked up Buddy and placed him on his bed. I heard the door up and saw Maddie and Aria.
"Hey, down there." They looked up and smiled.
"We were looking for you. You wanna go get lunch." Maddie asked.
"Yeah, but first look who I found." Aria climb the ladder first and saw Buddy asleep.
"Aww, you found Unknown."
"It's Buddy, now. I decided to keep him."
"Puppy!" Maddie squealed. Aria and I laughed and climb down the ladder, but not before putting some food and water for Buddy when he wakes up.
