Carol POV
I waited in my room, I had finished getting ready and the ball started an hour ago. You're probably wondering what had happened over at Melody's family house. It started out great, until things got out of hand at the end.
*~*~*~*~*~*
"This is the daughter of the man who left you to raise Melody, and right when Melody starts to show signs of magic, he comes waltzing in! That is not fair to you or Melody! This girl probably had any easy life, spoiled little girl." Melody's grandmother hissed at me at the end.
"Actually, I was raised on a island called the Isle of the Lost. I was adopted by a woman who I thought was my real mother. I've only just know about my father and who I really was a few months ago. You probably think I've had an easy life, but growing up in an environment where you're taught to be the next generation of evil is NOT an easy life!" I said calmly, I stood up from the table. "Thank you very much for having me."
With that I walked out of that room and out of the house. I wrapped my coat around me and made my way back to the castle to prepare for the ball in two days.
*~*~*~*~*~*
And that's what happened, bad way to spend time with people. I finished getting ready and walked out of my room. Even with a huge castle like this one, you can hear the echo of music, laughter and chattering.
I walked into the ballroom. There were so many people dance, eating, having a laugh. They were all wearing masks. I made my way to dad and put on a smile.
"How are you enjoying your first ball?" He asked.
"I've... never really expected it to be this many people. Who are they anyways?"
"Friends, business partners, etc. Don't worry about it, just enjoy yourself." He said before walking off.
"Carol! Carol!" I turned my head to see Melody running towards us in her purple dress. "Isn't this party fun?" She asked me in excitement.
"Definitely, you must be having fun." Melody have a nod.
"My mom let me have cake!" She jumped up and down in excitement.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, for your great entertainments." The man said, before the big doors opened up.
A girl with a violin and a blue mask, a couple, two men, four women, and two sisters, one older and one younger walked in the center of the room.

Everyone clapped as the performers exited, except the violin girl, she looked at me then left.
3rd POV
Ethan, Maddie, and Carlos waited for Aria to finish. Aria walking out ballroom and towards them quickly.
"I think I found her."
"Where?" Carlos asked.
"She's in a green dress, she's got this green crystal crown on and standing right next to a little girl."
"You have to go back out there. Their expecting another performance." Ethan said.
"I'll go with her." Maddie offers.
