Part 17: Hurt

She turned his head back to her then violently let go of her tight grip. Rebecca slapped Matthew one more time. She backed up and tightened her pony tail.

He started to get up and shove his way over to me. Some people started to stop him but he pushed them off. Some strangers shouted, some just sat there staring watching everything go down.

He got closer and closer to me. His face showed guilt and concern. For some odd reason I was scared. Scared of Matthew. Scared of feeling him. Feeling for him anymore.

So I got up and ran. I wasn't sure where I was going but I didn't care. My body shook, my muscles tense, my head was spinning, and my vision was blurry. I heard voices shouting my name but ignored them.

I suddenly felt something cold and wet adoring my body. I wiped my tears that blurred my eyes and saw that I was running into the depth of the water. I dived in to the water, trying to shut everything out. The voices sounded more distant, I didn't see anymore people, it all seemed to come to a stop for a change.

*Matts POV*

My heart was pounding. I screwed up so bad. I want to take back everything. I keep replaying the face Alexa made when I realized that she saw me. It was so hurt, broken, I could tell from her eyes that she was going to have a panic attack. But as soon as I tried to come to explain and wrap her up in my arms. She sprinted away. I don't blame her, I did cheat on her and she saw it.

"Alexa! Alexa Nicole Woods!", I screamed when she didn't come up out of the surface.

I felt a hand with long nails start rubbing my shoulders. "Hey baby, let's ditch this bitch and go to my place," Jessica said. My blood boiled. I tightened my jaw and clenched my fists. "Fuck you Jessica! Go away!", I yelled while jerking her hand off. She continued to have her hands roam by body getting closer and closer to my package.

I took a grip on her arms and threw them off me before turning around, "I said get away from me, get away from my life, get away from my family, get away from my friends, and most importantly get away from her!" She backed up slowly looking mad but still smug.

"Ok have it your way. But remember you came to me after that pathetic slut of a bitch wasn't giving you what you wanted. You didn't even let me have sex with you. You'll be back to me when that whore leaves you, oh sorry I forgot she already did. By the way I knew she was going to be here," she smirked.

"What do you mean you knew she was going to be here?"

"That bitch that punched you posted it on Instagram. I wanted to see the face on the whore when she saw you were mine."

"YOU'RE NOT MINE! YOU PSYCHOTIC BITCH!"

"You think what you want Matthew. If im so crazy than why do I know that you're whore is dying in that water and you aren't even diving in to help. Bye Matthew see you next month I guess," she laughed while walking away and left making sure to swing her her fake ass as she walked.

My attention went back to the water. I still didn't see her or Rebecca now. Then all of a sudden Rebecca came trudging onto the shore with Alexa in her arms. Alexa was dangling, her limbs not moving. "She's not breathing! Her heart isn't beating!" She yelled out the best she could. I ran as fast I could over to them. Rebecca glared at me but reluctantly handed Alexa over to me. Her small body was like a rag doll. I quickly laid her on the ground. Rebecca was sadly right, she wasn't breathing. I started to tell and cry out to the world while giving her CPR.

"PLEASE DONT GO! IM SORRY JUST PLEASE COME BACK ALEXA!!", I yelled. But her stomach continued to stay flat....
