Part 10: PINK & Gifts

Matt's POV

I looked around hopelessly searching for the perfect gift for Alexa. Her birthday was in a couple of days and I still hadn't found the perfect gift. She was perfect so I had to get her something perfect. I strolled through the mall looking into windows. I took out my phone and looked at her picture to see what she would maybe look good in. What am I supposed to get a girl? This is very hard work for a guy. As my face was buried on my phone I ran into this guy. "Hey, watch where your going!" The guy yelled in a angry tone. I quickly looked up and saw to my surprise that it was Carter. "Hey man!" I said while patting him on the back. He laughed. "Whatcha doing here?" he asked. His eyes looked over at my phone that was showing a picture of Alexa. "Birthday gift for Alexa." I said. He nodded slowly. "Get her something meaningful. Maybe a necklace and something cute. Im in the same boat as you. I am here to get a anniversary gift for Kim." he said running his fingers through his hair. Kim was his girlfriend. I nodded in agreement. "Well nice seeing u man! Good Luck." He said while gently punching my shoulder. I tucked my phone in my pocket then continued to window shop.

After a couple minutes I did what I never thought I would do. I. Went. Into. Victoria Secret. As I walked in I felt like a little kid stealing candy from a candy store. "Can I help you sir?" a lady asked. "Yeah. Im looking for a gift for my girlfriend." I said rubbing my neck nervously. She nodded. "What does she like?" she asked. We started to walk through the store. "Sweatshirts and perfume." I said guessing a little. I knew that she liked sweatshirts from here. But I only said perfume because I wanted to get a scent that I liked. "What size is she? Is she small or large?" she asked thumbing through the sweatshirts. "She's tiny." I said honestly. "How about any of these colors." she said. She pulled out a purple, light blue, mint green, and pink sweatshirts. "The purple and blue look good." I said taking then from her. They looked a little big but I lived it when it was a bit big. She nodded and smiled. Then guided me to the perfumes. "Pick out any you like." she said gesturing to the rows. I smelled each one and got two. "Is that all?" she said. I nodded. I checked out and practically ran out of there. Then I bought her favorite candy Skittles and a gold necklace that said her name. Carter saw me again with a 'Pink' bag and took a picture. I flipped him off and ran out of the mall.

"Hey honey!" my mom said as I walked trough the door. "Hi." i said. I made my way through the living room. She laughed when she saw the bags I was carrying. "So where's her gift? Did you leave it in your car?" she asked laughing hard. I rolled my eyes and went up stairs to my room.
