Finally after the agonizing wait in the traffic. They finally arrived at the hotel. It wasn't anything fancy or something so cheap even a newborn could afford. It was good enough for them to rest. "Hey Kim you pay upfront while I park the car." "Okay" sighed Kimberly "What's wrong?" "Nothing I'm fine." She responded with a rather bored or more so unreadable expression. "Okay if you say so. Wait for me in the lobby once you get the room key." "Ya sure."
--------
"Oh hello and welcome to the Days inn and suites. How may I help you today?" "Oh yes I have a room reservation for to please." Kimberly said with a fake smile masking her true thoughts. "Okay what is the name it was put under?" "CB" "okay then you room will be on the third floor room 326 wait here while I get your key." Later after a few minutes of waiting. "Here you go and would you like for us to get your luggage?" "Thank you for the offer but we'll manage." "Okay enjoy your stay."
"Will do!"
---------
"Okay I'm done and I got our stuff so you have the key?"
"Yeah follow me" "okay so what bed do you..... " *thud* "I want this one" said Kimberly while her words were slightly muffled by the bed. "Okay then so wot do you want to do now?" "I don't care." "Fine." Elaine said while frustration slowly came upon her. "I'm going to go take a shower then okay Kimberly don't go wandering around okay." "You got it boss" Kim said with a sarcastic tone in her voice. Suddenly once Elaine was out of sight Kimberly slowly moved towards the window. To you and me it seems innocent enough right. But what she was thinking was not so innocent. She could not help but think of the man and how worthless his life was. How easy it was to steal the light from his eyes. It wasn't like she regrets what she did no. It was more like she enjoyed it more than she should have. During this time she thought of other things but these things were ones that have been locked away from her mind for many years now coming back. She just stood there looking expressionless at the window. "Kim Kim Kimberly!" Elaine said with her voice slightly raised "Are you okay? You've been staring out the window for almost 12 minutes." "Uh yeah I'm fine." Responding in a monotone voice. "You sure cause it doesn't seem like it." "I'm fine okay just leave it. I'll go take a shower." "Yeah fine" but behind those words Elaine felt troubled for her friend not knowing how to read her in anyway. Just like she was always wearing a mask that might never come off.-----------
Okay dark yes deep I have no clue but I went with the flow.
