(A/N: we're rewriting sixteen and seventeen seeing as everything was rushed and stuff so yeah! and thanks so much again for 100 reads! :,) )
there was a coffee shop about two miles away from the foster home. "We don't need to do anything too crazy here. I'm already exhausted as it is." Elaine spoke as they pulled into the parking lot. "Alright alright. but I'm taking this incase you change your mind." Kimberly said, grabbing the pocket knife and waving it in the air. "Okay, do whatever, Whoever you target I have to target too."
Kimberly simply smiled her oh so innocent smile and got out the car.
Elaine got out as well. Around them, an alley way separating the cafe and the buildings next to it. Charcoal black streets and the sound of cars passing by. It was windy out which made the air cool. Elaine looked around at their surroundings, seeing if there was any way to kill someone and easily get away with it. If Kimberly had saw someone she wanted gone, they'd need a plan of action. Well, if either of them had, really. You can't go into a something like this without a plan. What if they fight back? What if they're armed as well? You never know what could happen so you have to go over every possibility and have a plan for each thing. It's not as simple as it has seemed.
"Are you coming in or what?" Kimberly said, standing next to the door. "Huh? Oh, yeah." Elaine said, snapping out of her daze. The two girls walked into the cafe, planning to get a cup of coffee and plan out their next destination. "I'm gonna sit while you get the drinks." Kimberly said, walking over to a two person table. "Of course." Elaine sighed, walking to the front counter and ordering.
While she was doing so, Kimberly being Kimberly, was casually playing k-pop where she sat. Elaine face palmed as she heard the music coming from her friends phone. "What else did I expect?" Elaine questioned herself under her breath.
Several minutes had passed and Elaine had the two beverages in hand. She walked back, making sure not to spill the hot drinks everywhere. Once she sat the drinks down, she cautiously put Kimberly's coffee in front of her and took a sip out of her own. "So, where should we head next?" Elaine asked, making Kimberly turn down her music that was filling up the room with sound.
"Sorry, what?" Kimberly said after taking this action. Elaine rolled her eyes then said, "Our next destination?"
"Oh, that yeah I don't know." Kimberly spoke, taking a sip from her cup.
After Kim had said this, Elaine took out her phone and looked up 'best places to travel' as if she was an average tourist.
She immediately turned off her phone and set it on the table. "St.Louis?"
"Sounds nice, but didn't we talk about the amusement park and zoo that was around here?" Kimberly asked.
"Hmm...right...Once we nap in the car then we can go to one of those places. Which peeks your interest more?"
"Well, at the zoo we can push people into the exhibits and at the amusement park we can make people falling of rides and disappearing look like an 'accident" Kimberly said, taking another sip of her coffee. "I like the way you think...Amusement park I guess" Elaine shrugged. Throughout this conversation, they were quiet. They made sure no one could hear them. They continued drinking their beverage until someone walked in. Someone...familiar.
