Did you really think Elaine was done with Robin?
It was about 4 am and Kimberly was now dead asleep. Elaine was still awake and filled with energy. Energy to finish what the two girls originally started. It doesn't take much to get this girl's blood boiling.
Elaine silently got up and grabbed the bag with her mask in it. She then grabbed the pocket knife and looked
over at her sleeping friend. "I'm sorry.." Elaine silently spoke and left. She made sure to not wake up the friend she might never see again after these actions.
Elaine was upset. Enraged at that. This girl knew something she didn't about her friend of nine years and counting.
She took the stairs and started walking for the front desk when she heard crying. She looked over to where it was coming from. It was coming from the pool. She walked towards the person that was crying and noticed something. She noticed it was the little girl. Robin. She slipped on the rabbit mask.
Still hellbent on killing this defenseless girl, Elaine made her way towards Robin. Elaine was dead silent until her last step behind the girl. Robin sharply turned around to be greeted by one of the masks from earlier. "Rabbit?" Robin weeped. Elaine got down on one knee and studied the girls face.
"Why are you crying?" She asked in a comforting way. Robin then shot up and gave Elaine an unexpected hug.
"M-My parents are fighting again...my mommy told me to run this time...I
think she might be hurt.." Robin was sobbing at this point.
Elaine's eyes widened in shock. Something just triggered in her head. She remembered something from before she met Kimberly. Something she never told Kimberly.

~flashback~
It was back when Elaine was only 7 years of age. Her parents have not been on good terms exactly since her father started drinking due to stress. more yelling occurred. That was all Elaine knew until she walked in on her father hitting her mother. Elaine tried to run over to stop him but as soon as she did, Her father hit her so she couldn't. Her mother screamed at her father for his actions but that just caused him to throw his wife on the ground. In fear, Elaine fled to her room and locked the door. This occurred so many times after as well and Elaine could do nothing but watch as her mother was beaten.

~reality~

Elaine finally snapped back into reality and picked up Robin reflexively.
"Where are you taking me, Rabbit?" Robin asked. "Somewhere safe for now..." Elaine hesitated but she ran back to her hotel room with Robin in her arms.
What again was supposed to be a homicide mission had turned out to be the exact opposite. She opened the door and shut it. "Don't wake the other one up, okay?" Elaine said calmly to Robin while sitting her on her bed.
Elaine turned away and took the mask off and threw it to the ground with force, causing Kimberly to jump up.
"What was....wait why...why is she here?" Kimberly softly said due to her just waking up.
Elaine didn't realize what she said and walked over to the bathroom sink and looked into the mirror above it.
"How dare my dad call me about her death when he damn well knows he was the one who nearly caused it years ago..." Elaine said in clear anger, teeth gritted.
Kimberly slowly got up and walked towards the bathroom.
Elaine looked down. "I won't let her see the same things I did as a child.."
"Ellie! What are you even talking about?" Kimberly asked.
"Nothing....I'll tell you later.." Elaine gripped onto the pocket knife.
"I expect you to stick to that...and what are you...planning to do with that?"
"Don't worry that kid won't be harmed..." Elaine said, then making her way over to the mask on the floor. She stuck it back on, hoping Robin hadn't seen her real face yet. She walked over to Robin and said these words, "Now, I want you to tell me your room number...I want to put an end to this fighting problem...." Elaine said, now not so hellbent on killing Robin...but killing her father. The one who is causing the pain the little girl is feeling.
