Chapter Thirty

Today we woke up early. Zayn and I are going to have a city trip. Lily and Grayson are going to go snorkeling. We are going to be picked up at the entrance. We say goodbye to the others and then walk off. Their is a mam waiting by a white bus. We get led inside. Zayn takes a few pictures of me in the bus. We take a selfie and I laugh. I smile as he gives me a kiss on the cheek. I look out the window and watch as we drive through a touristic street. The bus comes to a stop and we all step out.

There is a man with a white shirt and a pair of Hawaii patterned shorts. He is wearing a name tag with the name: Mike. "Hello, I am Mike and I will be your tour guide for today. We are still waiting for some others, who will arrive shortly." He says. Zayn takes my hand in his as we wait for the others. The tour guide looks at him with a curious look, like he is guessing where he knows him from. I hear Zayn chuckle lightly as the man turns his head to welcome the others.

"Thailand is known for its temples. This is the Big Buddha Temple." He begins as we walk towards the temple. "Known locally as Wat Phra Yai, its golden, 12-meter seated Buddha statue was built in 1972 and remains one of the island's most popular temples. We walk past it. "Wat Plai Laem." He says. "A living and active temple." He begins. "Is a relatively new temple but the art techniques used in its creation are centuries-old and based on ancient beliefs."

We take some pictures and get some more information about it. We walk on.

"The Chaweng Walking Street." The man says as he looks around us. "Here is a food court and there are shopping stalls." The man explains. "Mummy Monk at Wat Khunaram." He says with a wide smile. "Luang Pordaeng's, Samui's most famous mummified monk. His body is displayed here." He says proudly looking at the temple. "His body is laying inside of a glass case."

Zayn smiles at me and I smile back as we walk further.

We see a lot more of the island and then go in to the Chaweng Walking Street. We get some lunch for on the beach this afternoon. "Can we have some of this?" Zayn asks the man behind the stall. The man fills a little bag and then we walk on.

"Come on, lets go." Zayn says with a smile and bags in his hand. "Yes, lets go." He says. I take a few of them. He looks at me with a look. "Don't, just let me."

Zayn is being called by Jaxson. The weather is amazing. I take steps into the water. It is beautiful here. I hear Lily and Grayson arrive. "It was amazing, babe." Grayson says as Lily looks at him with a smile on her face. "Hi." I say when they have arrived. "Hey." Lily gives me a hug. "How was it?" I ask her. "It was beautiful." She says. "And with the two of you?" Grayson asks. "It was fun." I say with a smile.

We lay on the beach and relax. It is fun not worrying about people taking pictures of you. I smile at the idea. "What are you thinking of?" Zayn asks me. "People who don't watch where you are going." He nods. "I am so agreeing with you." He says. He lays down on his towel. Lily runs into the water.

We eat dinner as the sun goes down again. I smile at Lily. She gives me a hug. Behind her stands Grayson. My eyes meet his and he looks down. I let go and then walk towards our cabins.
I am checking my phone as Zayn lays down beside me. "Did you enjoy today?" He asks me. "Yes." I say looking over at him and smile. I turn back to him when he chuckles. "I think you will like tomorrows activity as well." He says turning around on his side. "Are we going shopping?" I ask curiously. "I am saying nothing." He says, I hear the smile in his voice. "Come on!" He shakes his head.

I turn to my side and then check phone. Emma and Niall are in Ireland. I smile when she sends me a picture of her and his nephew. So cute. "What are you doing?" He asks me. "I am saying nothing." I say with a smile. He sighs. "Good Night, Nina." I laugh.

"Good night." I say and then text some more with Emma.

I feel my eyes close and then I fall into a deep sleep..
