Love Me Like You Do - A Zayn Malik AU

Chapter Forty-one

Today is a big day for Zayn's cousin: Elisabeth.

I walk up to my mirror and check myself. The light blue dress is what I am wearing today. I had curled my hair and made a up do. My eyes have golden coloured eye shadows, my cheeks a peachy blush and my lips have a rosy pink lipstick. I fill a gold clutch with cash, my iPhone and my lipstick.
I have on my gold strap heels. The last thing, I do is get my white scarf.

When I arrive down stairs, Jacob is waiting. He will be bringing me towards the place it will be held. He smiles. "You look amazing, sister." He says. "Thank you, Jacob."

"Have fun!" He says when I step put. There are camera's everywhere. Zayn is waiting outside. We wave to Jacob and he then drives off. One person with a camera is allowed in and that is the photographer and the man who films the wedding. Zayn holds on to my hand as he leads me in to the cathedral. The location is very pretty.

"We have come together to watch to people who are deeply in love, wed each other on this day." The vicar says. "Love comes very unexpected and everybody has their own stories about how they meet. This one day will be about the story of Elizabeth and Erick." Zayn rubs over my hand and I smile at him.

After a long and emotional ceremony they both say 'I do.'

Zayn holds me close to him. Of course there are people that are working for the royal family, who are protecting them and the guests. Luckily they don't look so mad and serious like always.

We all get led to a big castle like building. Zayn and I congratulate the bride who looks happily as ever with her now husband on her side. "Congratulations." I say. Elizabeth smiles at me. "Thank you so much for coming, it is very nice to meet you after all this time." Elizabeth tells me before she looks at Zayn. "You make him very happy." She smiles as she looks over at me.. "Nina, shall we say hello to the others." Zayn asks me with a shy look as he looks towards the floor, a slight blush on his cheeks as he takes my hand.

We say our goodbyes before we walk towards the other family members. We have a lovely dinner and after that the married couple have their dance. It is beautiful and emotional to watch. The cake was cut. Speeches by family members and friends are being held. Some of them are very emotional but very beautiful to listen to.

After all the speeches it is time to dance. Slow songs which everybody dances along to, some jump around and drink champagne to celebrate the marriage of the husband and wife. People hang up some quotes, wishes and small letters to the husband and wife by writing them on cards, in a big lit up tree outside of the castle. When I have hung my wish up in the tree and wait for Zayn to finish, I make eye contact with one of the guests. He smiles with a handsome smile and mysteriously walks off in to the castle.

When everybody is back inside, an unknown person steps on the stage. The figure makes everybody quiet with that the younger girls and boys. The man gets everybody's attention.

"Dear Elizabeth and Erick,

It has been a very long time since I have seen Elizabeth and I have missed her lots. Just like most of the people here. I have travelled the world and I am back now. I wish Elizabeth and Erick the best time of their lives as they love each other."

He is the man I saw outside. The guy I made eye contact with.

"If you find love along the way and it is the love of your life, keep that feeling in your heart. You never know what happens along the way, but when its real love, it will always find its way. Like you promised each other in their speeches. You promised each other love, trust and support in the most hardest times. The person loves you for the person that you are, the person you have been and the person that you will be in the future."

Zayn's POV

That guy is really trying to get his thoughts out there. He has really got impact on everybody in this room. I look over at Nina who is impressed by his words. He speaks like my father but than in a much younger tone and voice. He lays his eyes on me and that makes me turn cold as I think back.

~Flashback~

He threw the ball at me and I quickly run away before Safaa gets it. The little girl runs after me as I slow down so she can still keep up with me. "No cheating, Zayn." He says and smiles. "It is unfair for her." I say defending my little sister.

She got the ball and he groans. "You should have ran harder." Safaa runs away and sticks out her tongue at her oldest brother as she runs away with it again. "Haha." She yells. "Dinner!!" Mother yells. "We are coming mother!" He says back. My oldest brother is 3 years older than me.

We sit down in our seats around the table. "Have a nice meal." Our servant says and smiles. "I want to be a princess." Safaa says as she gets set in her seat. "But your already a princess my love." Our father says with a proud smile. "I want to travel the world one day." My older brother which makes everybody just stare an look at him.

~End of Flashback~

I shift uncomfortably. "The bloody hell."

Nina's POV

"Excuse me." Zayn says and I nod as he walks away with a kind of mad expression. I look around the room and see Elizabeth. She has tears in her eyes. Trisha and Yaser are looking with shock on their faces. What is going on in here?

I don't know what to do so just take another glass of champagne. The guy walks towards me and he smiles. "Cheers." He clings his glass to mine. "Who are you?" I ask. He moves my hair to the side and then leans in to my ear and whispers: "You will find out soon." He says and then walks away. Leaving me speechless and breathless...
