Chapter Twenty

I look over at Emma as we walk through the gym doors. I look at the crowd. Al the girls are in lovely dresses and the boys in beautiful suite and tie. Emma and I look at each other, smile and then look back at the crowd. Her dress is so beautiful. Her hair is straightened and beautifully stuck up. My hair is curled and extensions have been put in. Zayn walks towards me and takes my hand as he leads me to the dance floor.

I wake up from my alarm. I turn it off. I get up and stretch. I step under the shower.
I wash my hair and body. The coldness hits me when I step out of the shower. I quickly wrap my towel around me and then blow dry my hair so it dries quicker. I look through my closet. I go for a pair of grey jeans and a black blouse. I put on my boots and then put on my jewellery. The ring with the silver stone never leaves my finger. The cross necklace is always around my neck and I put on my heart bracelet.

I lightly brush my hair through. I out my hair in a half up do. I put my earrings in and then pack my grey purse. I put my laptop inside and then walk outside my room. I walk past my father's office. "Dad, do you have the files of the financials of DeLafayette Vogue." I ask him as I shut the door behind me. "They are laying in the drawer there." He says pointing towards the file cabinet. I search for the file and then take it out of the drawer.

"I will be there in 5 minutes, princess." He says and smiles. "Okay." I walk downstairs. Jacob is sitting at the table. "Good morning." He says pouring in some tea for himself. He also pours in some for me. "How did it go?" He asks me. "It went well." I say smiling. "That is great." He says. I nod. "And with you and Gabriella?" I ask him. "It is okay." He says smiling happy. "That is so good to hear." I quickly make some breakfast and eat it up.

I enter the conference room and lay the files down on the table. I put the USB device into my laptop and connect my laptop with the projector. My father walks in followed by my mother. Mr. Hafthings walks inside the conference room. He is the manager of DeLafayette Vogue. He smiles and gives me a hand. Us three run the presentation through and then Mr. Garreds enter the room. "Hello Ms. DeLafayette." He says smiling at me.

"And that is why those two financials are growing larger this year." I say smiling at my father. I end the meeting with that line. Mr. Renee de Bruin is the person that will maybe take DeLafayette Vogue to the Netherlands. He looks at me with a strict look in his eyes. "I will discuss it with the crew. You will hear from us."
I have arrived home. It went so well. Hopefully he makes up his mind quickly since I would like it so much if it came to Amsterdam. I am looking for my straightener when I see a little necklace laying at the bottom of my drawer. It is a silver necklace with the little bird. I remember Emma loving the necklace so much. An idea comes to my mind. "That is, it." I smile brightly. I take my purse and put the necklace inside of it.

I quickly walk towards the garage and step inside my car. The little device makes the gates open and I drive through the gates.

Driving through the centre, I smile at the idea. I arrive at the little shop. "Hello, do you still have this necklace in store." I ask the lady behind the counter. "You are very lucky since we have one last in stock for you." I smile. "Is it a gift?" She asks me. I nod. She takes a purple jewellery box and a ribbon. "Thank you so much." I say as I take out my wallet.

When I have bought the necklace, I smile. I put the box in my bag. My iPhone rings. I take my iPhone out of my bag and check the caller ID.

Incoming call

Rose

"Nina." I say. "Hello. I just call from the wedding dress store and the appointment is held today." She says. "It is at three." I look on my watch. "I am already in the centre so will meet you there." I say smiling. "Okay." I walk towards Starbucks and order my favorite drink.
I drink it as I walk towards the store.

I arrive at the shop and my eyes look around. These dresses are so pretty. "Nina." Rose says smiling at me. "The wedding is in a month and I am so nervous." She says, her eyes are twinkling. I give her a very tight hug. Mother walks in, followed by Tiffany and Amber. Faye, the girl that will help Rose, leads us to the dressing rooms. We have already gone dress shopping another time but we couldn't find the perfect one.

We have only tried on five dresses. Mother gasps as she walks out with the last dress. All of us fill up with tears including Rose as she stands in front of the mirror. "Oh my god." She says. Everybody cries. "You look beautiful, Rose." Mother says through her tears.

We have chosen for this dress. Faye smiles. "This is the dress." Rose says wiping her tears. Faye takes out a bottle of champagne. "Thank you." Rose says smiling. The dress is so nice.

To be clear almost everything is done actually. The wedding is in four months. I smile when I look on the list. Flowers, brides dress and the location is almost done. Emma her birthday is tomorrow.

I shut down my laptop. Jacob and I have decided to eat dinner tonight. The night sky is clear with the stars shining bright. I walk through the doors of the hotel. I see Jacob sitting down already and walk over to him. "Hi." He says with a smile. He hugs me and then we both sit down. "How did it go this morning?" He asks me with a interested smile. "It went well." I say, he smiles at me as I tell him how it went.

"I hope that man says yes. He is Hollands most famous designer. How much money, you would make with having your line there." He says exited as I nod. "You would make dad happy." I nod and then the food gets served. I pick up my fork. "He would be, very happy." I say and then take a bite out of my food.

The night was so much fun, talking to my little brother about tons of things. We decide to pay and then walk inside our house.

I change into a pair of pyjama shorts and a sweater. I put my hair up into my bun. I remove my makeup. Jacob and I decided to watch a movie in his room. When we have finally found a movie to watch, we watch the movie and the night ends with me falling as sleep.
