As Harry walks slowly down the hallway with Rose, he was thinking how amazing it felt to wake up with her in his arms that morning. He and Rhonda had quit sleeping together months before she died, so it's been basically 2 years sence he's been with anyone. Having a child tended to put a damper on casual relationships, not that he was into those anymore anyway.
"You ready to turn around? Head back to your room, Steph and Beth should be here soon." Harry tells Rose.

Nodding, Rose smiles up at Harry as he wraps his arm around her waist. "I can't wait to see Steph, she's such a sweet girl." Rose says. Just as they get even with her doorway they both hear a sweet voice calling out.

"Daddy, Rose." Steph calls from down the hallway when she sees them walking, she then let's go of her aunt's hand and runs to her dad, charming all the nurses.

Scooping Steph up in his arms Harry hugs his daughter to him. "Hey Bug, I sure have missed you." He says kissing her cheek.

"I missed you too, daddy. Hi Rose, I missed you too." Steph grins leaning down giving her a hug also.

With tears in her eyes Rose takes the child from Harry and hugs her close. "Oh Steph, I've missed you too, hun." Rose whispers, trying not to cry.

"Come on love, let's get you back in bed." Harry says just as Beth reaches them.

Just as Rose got comfortable with Stephanie stuggled up beside her in the bed there was a soft knock on her door and the doctor walks in. "Well, who is this adorable young lady?" He asks.

"This is my daughter Stephanie and my Aunt Beth." Harry tell him.

"Ahh, well Rose how did things go on your walk? Any dizziness, double vision, nausea?" The doctor asks.

"Nope, none of that. I walked a little this morning before breakfast and again just now, everything seemed fine." Rose says.

"Well in that case, sence you will have Dr. Styles with you most of the time I'm going to let you go home now." He says. "If at any time you start feeling sick or getting headaches get back here." The doctor adds. "Blurry or double vision also, don't ignore these systems."

"I won't." Rose says as she pulls Steph into her lap. "When can I return to work?" She asks.

"What type of job do you do?" He asks.

"Well its kinda hard to explain." Rose says. "All I do is basically keep the animals calm so the local vets can work on them." She tells him.

The doctors eyes widen slightly. "So your a whisperer. Like one of those special people I've seen on TV."

"Yeah I guess that's what you can say I do." Rose says.

"I'd give it at least another week. Just to be safe." He tell her. "Then you should be able to return to full duty."

"Okay, thank you." Rose and Harry says at the same time. As Rose signs her release papers Harry talks to Beth about her staying with Rose during the day until they know she's definitely okay. When she's done with that and dressed they all leave at the same time.
Harry goes to his place packs him and Steph some clothes while Rose gathers up some of Steph's favorite toys, coloring books and crayons. When all that's done Harry stops and picks up the pizza he called in then drives to Rose's house.

"Marty has already been here to feed your pets for the day, so they are good until tomorrow." Harry tells Rose. "I don't want you worrying about that, I'll feed them tomorrow when I get home from work. Just rest and play with Bug if you want." He grins.
...............

Harry pulls up in and parks his tuck beside Rose's, it's been a rather hard day trying to keep all the animals he was working on that day calm without her help, hell the whole week has been rough. Hopefully after the weekend she will be ready to go back to her regular activities, Rose is very much needed in this area Harry thought as he walks to the door of her house, dropping his keys on the table by the door Harry takes his jacket off and hangs it on the hall tree there with Rose's and Steph's. Then he smells the most wonderful aroma ever, walking to the kitchen Harry leans against the door frame and grins.
Rose is standing at the stove, with Steph sitting on the counter beside her, cooking what looked to be fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and corn on the cob. From where he was standing the pair looked more like mother and daughter than his wife and his daughter ever did and that just warms his heart.
Harry loves Rose, he told her that while she was in the hospital, he knows she loves him and his daughter, she told him the same thing. They haven't taken their relationship any further than that, one Harry didn't want to push Rose into anything she wasn't ready for, another was he was wanting to make sure she was completely healed, and they had time, they haven't known each other that long. They had a lot to learn about each other and he for one wanted to make sure all this wasn't about act, Harry didn't want history repeating itself.
Just then Steph looks up and sees him standing there.

"Daddy, we are cooking." She says, clapping her small hands.

Smiling, Harry walks over to his daughter. "I can see you are, and it smells delicious." He says as he kisses Steph on the cheek then turns and does the same to Rose. "How much longer? I'll go feed the animals then clean up." Harry asks.

"Steph and I already fed them, with Beth's help, before she left." Rose tells Harry. "So if you want to shower and get comfy this should be done by then." She smiles.

"In that case I'll get cleaned up." Harry says kissing both girls again then heading to the bedroom her shares with Rose to shower.
