Chapter 28

Rose and Andy has been home for 3 days, Anne and Gemma couldn't find anything wrong with her that would cause the headaches she was getting without her going through more extensive testing. Rose knew there was something seriously wrong, so did Andy.
Over the past 3 days Andy has spent some time with his dad, but only because his mom made him and he wanted to see his sister. He wasn't sure if he liked his dad or not. Plus he didn't like leaving his mom alone in case something happens.
Andy was sitting in his sister's room, they were just talking about what they wanted to do when he suddenly has this bad feeling hit him. Jumping up he grabs Steph's hand.
"We have to get to mom, something is wrong." Andy cries as he pulls her to the door.

When Steph sees how upset Andy is she runs with him into the livingroom, yelling for their dad.

When Harry hears Steph yelling for him for the first time in 3 days he knows something is wrong, she kept her word and hasn't spoke to him at all since Rose got home. Walking out of the kitchen he sees Steph and Andy running into the livingroom.
"Whoa, what's wrong?" Harry asks.

"Something is wrong with mom." Andy cries. "I can feel it. We have to go check on her." He tells his dad.

Harry still wasn't sure if he believed everything Rose told him about his son's abilities, throwing the hand towel he was holding over his shoulder, Harry shakes his head. "Son look, I'm sure your mom is fine. This is the first time you've been away from her, I know it can be a little stressful."

"No! Dad, there something wrong." Andy cries.

"Stop!" Harry finally snaps. He hated that his son was upset over being separated from his mom, but Andy was his son too. He deserved his time with him. "Your mom is fine, now go to your room until I have supper done." Harry tells the 2 kids.

Steph pulls Andy back down the hallway. "Come on Bubby." Steph says, once they were back in her room she pulls him to the window. "Help me open it, we'll go out this way. Gammy live a few houses down the road, we'll run down there, she will help us." She tell him. It only took the pair a few minutes to get to Anne's door.

Anne frowns when she hears someone banging on her door. Walking over she is shocked to see Steph and Andy standing alone, both crying, on her porch. "Oh, what wrong? Is your dad okay?" Anne asks as she pulls the pair into a hug.

"Dad is fine Gammy. Bubby feels like something is wrong with Momma." Steph cries. "Dad wouldn't listen to him and yelled told us to go back to our room. Gammy please, we have to go check."

"Yes, of course, get in the car." Anne tells the kids as she grabs her purse and keys. She is so pissed at her son she doesn't even call him to let him know she has his kids, let him suffer. When Anne gets to Rose's they all jump from the car.

"Kiki's cage." Andy yells as he takes off in that direction.

Anne and Steph follow Andy, when they get to the enclosure they find Rose on the ground with the large cat lying beside her, like he was trying to keep her warm, Anne has never been in the cage before but she didn't even think about that at this moment, Rose is what matters. Anne throws the door open and runs to Rose and carefully rolls her over, when she sees blood running from her nose and ears she knows then Rose is in big trouble. Grabbing her phone Anne calls the Louisville hospital and has them get life flight on the way, she then calls Gemma and Louis to tell them what was going on. Anne then dials her son's number.

Hearing his phone ring, he reaches behind him and picks it up. "Hey mom, what's up?" He asks.

"I don't understand you anymore." Anne snaps right away. "You fucked up and lost Rose and Andy for 5 damn years. Now that you have them back, you don't believe anything she tells you about Andy's abilities, ignore his cries for help, don't even try to win your Rose back. Now I don't have much time here because life flight will be any second now." Anne yells. "I have your kids, they came running to me when you wouldn't believe them, we are at Rose's. Harry I think she's had an anurisum, it may be to late to save her now. If you had listened to your amazing son, when he first warned you, you might have been able to." Anne says with a sob, hanging up without letting Harry speak.

Harry stands there, in his kitchen, stunned at what he just heard. Shaking his head he runs to Steph's room to find it empty and the window open. Running back to the livingroom Harry grabs his wallet and keys and heads out the door to go to Rose's. Just as he opens the door to his truck he hears life flight fly over and knows he'll never make it in time so he decides to go straight to the hospital instead.
Pulling out of his driveway, Harry hits his flashers, and speeds as fast as he dares without police escort to the hospital. Thinking about all the mistakes he's made with his Rose. Hell, it was all going so great there for a while, everything seemed perfect. Then it was like something in him couldn't believe someone like her would pick him, and remain faithful, so he was doing everything in his power to sabotage their relationship. And it looks like he succeeded. He may have lost the only person he ever truly loved and helped kill his sons mom. Harry thought as he pulls into the hospital parking lot.
