Chapter 6: Starting a New

Before we went to the beach we had to get swimsuits so we went to the hotels gift shop. I bought each of us a suit and towel and after we changed off we went.

They were selling boogie boards at the beach so I bought 3. I would have bought 4 but Seth's got that cast so I thought I'd buy him one when he could actually use it. I told him he could have a nice big shark on it like the one he wanted. Of Zara and Sydney wouldn't take any unless it was the one they wanted. Sydney's had a big flower on it and Zara's had dolphins all over it.

"Alice will you teach us how to biggie board please???" Zara asked.

"Of course." I said. " ok when we swim out there you turn away from the waves towards shore. then just before the wave hits you start paddling. Ill help you the first few times."

"Ok!" Sydney and Zara said running for the water.

"Ok now turn around. And when I tell you to start paddling." I said."Wait Wait..... NOW! Paddle!!"

"We're doing it we're doing it we are actually doing it!" Zara yelled as she road the wave.

"Great job!" I said when I got back to shore with my own wave. It's the first time I've ever truly been happy since we had to "move". It reminded me of when it was just mom Seth and me. Ot was nice back then. We were those normal people on the street with nothing to worry about.

After we got board biggie boarding we went to play in the sand. I think Seth was glad Sydney and Zara had a short attention span because I could tell he was getting bored. We helped The girls make sand castles.

"This is the biggest sand castle ever." Zara exclaimed.

"Ya it looks like a real castle." Sydney agreed.

Which was true we but a note around it and a flag on top.

"We should have a contest to see who can build the best sand castle." Seth suggested.

"That's a great idea. I will be with Zara and Seth you go with Sydney." I agreed.

Zara and I built a sand castle that looked like the hotel. Not exactly it didn't look very sturdy but the way we decorated it made it look like the hotel, somewhat. Seth and Sydney made one look like our house. well our old house. But this time it didn't somewhat look like it it actually looked like it. Then again Seth was always good at stuff like that.

But when it came down to voting Zara still voted for ours and I voted for theirs. Seth voted for ours and Sydney voted for theirs. It was a tie.

"Alice!" I heard.

I turned to find Eddie coming our way.

"Hey." I said.

"Small world isn't it." He said.

"Ya " I said

Seth pulled my arm back and whispered something to me. "He could be the third judge." He said.

"Ok I'll ask." I said turning back to him.

"Ask me what?" He asked.

"Would you be the tie breaker judge?" I asked.

"Sure what am I judging?" he said.

I pointed to the two sand buildings. Anf Eddie walked over to them.

"I like the house better." Eddie said.

"YES!! We won Seth we won!" Sydney jumped.

Zara started crying a little but it didn't look like she was crying about losing.

"Zara it's ok we'll beat them next time." I said.

"It's not that." Zara said. "It's just it looks so much like our house. I miss it. I miss mom!

She walked off crying and Seth took Sydney after her.

"It was nice seeing you Eddie but I got to go." I told him.

"Oh ok well see you later." he said kinda disappointed.

I ran after my siblings and went to the hotel. When we got in our rooms Sydney and Zara started watching TV. Seth was reading a book and I went online to find a school for Sydney And Zara. I'm our mom left us a lot of money because these schools are expensive. But I found a school with a reasonable price and a good reputation. It was called Bermuda High. I gave the school a call and was on the phone for about an hour.

When I got Seth said. "who was that Eddie?"

""No it's was Sydney and Zara's school they start in a week." I said.

I turned back to the computer and started searching for an apartment. I found one in the Roesmont Apartment complex. it was 5 minutes from the school (by walking). It was only $250 monthly. I called the land owner and I bought the apartment. We move in next week around the same time Sydney and Zara start school. Great that's just great. That's going to be the busiest week ever.
