I promise

You slowly sit up and proceed to look around.

"Shuu?" You call out, eyes darting around. There he is, kneeled by the bed with his head and arms resting on your bed. His eyes flutter open and he jumps up.

"Y/N! Thank goodness you're awake. Are you ok?" He says quickly as he crawls up on the bed.

"Yes, I'm fine..." You say, regret starting to set in. His eyes grew very serious, almost angry.

"Now, what the HELL were you thinking!?" His voice was about as angry as his eyes.

"I-I..." Tears started to fall, "I had a horrible day yesterday and I didn't want to come home so Reiji and everyone else could make it worse!" You sob. Shuu crawls over and pulls you close.

"I couldn't make it better?" He asks softly, stroking your hair.

"I wasn't thinking... Shuu, I'm so sorry." You cry as you bury your head in his chest.

"I-... I didn't know what to think... Something could have happened, you left, you..."

"Hey," you interrupted, "I will NEVER leave you." You say, looking him dead in the eye.

"Promise?" You can see worry in those ocean blue eyes of his.

"I promise, Shuu. I promise."

School got better over time, and you even managed to make a few friends. Which obviously helped. You had Marie, Red, and Jack. Jack was the first friend you made in your class. He was tall, had gray eyes, black hair, and always wore a blue beanie. Knew all the video games and Animes you liked. You and him were close, but nothing more than good friends. It was Friday, the end of the day, and he was walking you to the door. Outside, the limo was waiting. Jack messed up your hair and smirked.

"See ya shorty." He laughed. You gave him a quick hug and run to the limo. All the boys were there, waiting, pretty much silent. You sit by Shuu and hug him from the side.

"Hi." You say. No reply. His eyes were closed and he seemed to be agitated. "What's wrong?" You ask.

"Nothing." He sighs, not looking at you. Ha and you both were quiet the rest of the way home. The moment the limo stopped, Shuu hopped up and fast walked inside.

"Hey!" You call after him. "C'mon, what's up?" Shuu turns around quickly, looking abnormally angry.

"Who is he? The guy you hugged." He asked.

"Jack? He's my friend, nothing more." You explain.

"You sure?" He presses on.

"Shuu, I promised. I'm not like that. In fact, I'm kinda sad you'd think I'd do that..." You say. Shuu looked down and sighed.

"Ok... I believe you. C'mere." He says, motioning for you to come to him. You walk over and squeal as he picks you up bridal style and takes you to his room.
