*fast forward to Friday*

Nothing really happened this week in school that was dramatic because we are still getting used to it. Although Cody & Tyler became friends, not best buds, but friends nonetheless. Cody and I basically flirted sometimes and awkwardly hung out other times. But it was pretty cute seeing how Tyler and Chloe acted. He made her so happy! She deserves that after three useless, cheating boyfriends. I never really approved of any of them, but Tyler was good for her.

Before last period, Cody was walking with me to music and we bumped into Chloe and Tyler walking to some class together. We each had a little chat about last period, homework, etc, but then out of no where Cody said:

“Hey why don’t we all go out for dinner tonight, then sleepover at my place? Celebrate getting through the first week?”.

Tyler said it sounded like a good idea & he’d call his mom to ask when he was in the locker room later, Chloe said she’d text her mom during class (she was sure it’d be a yes though), and I said I could just tell my parents later. With that we all went to next period.

Our last class of the day flew by and next we had all met up in front of the school- we all had permission for dinner and a sleepover. I texted Alli to see if she and a friend wanted to come, but she said she had other plans already.

We walked home and took about an hour for me and Chloe to get ready and change clothes (borrowing from Alli). We had no idea where we were going or how formal it would be. So we dressed semi-casual but still formal. We went downstairs and saw Cody and Tyler in suits and ties.

“Oh, no no no, you babes need some thing MUCH fancier.” Cody said and turned us around to go back upstairs. I rolled my eyes at him and Chloe just looked clueless. I took her arm and we went back up the stairs and into Alli’s room. We put on some of Alli’s fancy party dresses and heels. I put on some diamond earings and Chloe put on a pearl necklace, looking mighty classy.

By now we could hear Cody saying that it was already 6:30 and time to go. We had to be where ever we were going by 7. So we ran downstairs to them. Chloe and I were frantically trying to find our purses, get cash, and double check for everything. Chloe started giggling, so I looked up and saw that Cody and Tyler’s jaws had physically dropped at the sight of us. I couldn’t help but blush, I thought that only happened in movies!

“Yeah, yeah, we look beautiful, huh? Save it for later studs! Aren’t we in a hurry?” I said trying to hide my red face and walking towards the front door. Chloe was right by my side and Cody & Tyler were following us. I opened the door and there, in front of the house, was a long, shining black limo. I looked at Cody, stunned, and he just smiled slyly, winked, then gestured for us to get in.

Where the heck were we going?
