Did you ever notice that in the Harry Potter movies Snape always (haha I said always) stares at Harry's eyes when he is looking/talking to Harry.
I've heard that J.K.R casted Snape herself and she told Alan Rickman all about Snape's back-story. So Alan got into his character in great detail and kept looking at Harry's (Dan's) eyes while taking or looking at him because he knew the back-story of Snape and knew that Harry had Lily's eyes!!!
