Chapter 8: Goodbye

Jen Pov:

I wake up to my alarm and Ava licks my face.

"Alright I'm up Ava"

She stops licking me and I hear Emma laugh

"Ava is adorable"

"Yea but her breath doesn't smell to great"

"Haha yea I guess you're right"

"We can bring her today if you want"

"Yea!"

We get up and get dressed. I help Emma put her suitcase in my car and we drive to Starbucks.

"What do you like to drink?"

"Same as you"

"You know my Starbucks order?"

"Yea I do...is that creepy"

"Um just a little bit but I find it cute"

I order our lattes and we head to set.

"What scenes are you filming today?"

"I'm filming a fight with the evil queen, and something at Mary Margret's apartment."

"That's so cool"

"It's so adorable how much you love the show"

We drive up to the set and I put Ava in the trailer. I take Emma with me to hair and makeup. She sits with me while they turn me into Emma. Then Ginny comes in

"Hey Emma how are you"

"Good I've been having a lot of fun here"

They continue there conversation and I'm in deep thought about my daughter. I know I can't keep her but part of me wonders if she would even want to stay. Then Ginny disrupts me from my thoughts.

"Jen, Jen! Earth to Jen"

"Sorry, just stuck in my head"

"I was just saying that Emma could spend time with Oliver and Hugo while we're filming"

"Oh that's a great idea"

Emma speaks up

"I love babies, this will be fun!"

Emma walks off with Ginny's nanny.

"Jen how are you doing"

"I'm great"

"You don't seem so great"

"I just spent the day with my biological daughter and it was so amazing. I love her"

"I'm so happy for you"

We walk out of hair and makeup and head to wardrobe.

"Jen are you sure something isn't bugging you"

"I'm just not ready to let her go I guess"

"That may be true but I can tell something else is wrong"

That moment Colin comes around the corner.

"Hi Ginny, Jen"

"Hey Colin"

He walks away and Ginny stares at me

"Something happened didn't it"

"Why do you say that"

"You and Colin are great friends now suddenly your ignoring each other"
