Chapter 9: Why

Emma Pov:
I arrive back at Josh and Kendall's at 7:00pm. I open the door and Sophia comes up and hugs me.

"Emma how was it, what did you do, did you meet everyone, what was it like, did you see"

"Whoa slow down I just walked inside"

"Sorry I've just missed you!"

Then Kendall comes in the room

"Emma I'm so happy your back"

She goes and talks to Lisa about paper work and such. I walk in the kitchen and sit down with Sophia who is practically jumping out of her seat.

"Please tell me every moment of it"

"It was absolutely amazing! We talked about everything and we sang together"

"She sang with you!"

"Yea, she said she wanted to know everything about me. So I told her that I loved to sing and she sang with me"

"That's amazing! Did you meet the whole cast"

"Yea I watched them filmed and spent time with them. It was like a dream"

"I'm so jealous of you!!"

Then Kendall came in and asked me about my trip. I told her that it was fun and I enjoyed spending time with Jen. I also told her that Jen wanted to visit sometime and she said that she would want to meet her. After our conversation Sophia and I went to our bedroom.

"Emma did she really say she wants to see you again"

"Yea she did, I really believe her"

"I'm glad you found your mom...are you going to leave"

"What?"

"You obviously love your mom and she seems to love you so why wouldn't you go back to her"

"I don't think she would even take me, she has a busy life"

"But Emma she's your mom"

"She gave me away once"

"But now she's met you and she can't forget about you. Trust me she wouldn't tell you she wants to see you if she didn't actually want to"

"I guess you're  right"

"I hope she comes here so I can meet her!"

"I told her about you and she said she would love to meet you"

"That so awesome!!"

I unpacked and got in my bed. I closed my eyes but I couldn't fall asleep. All I could think about was Jen, this was the first time I really missed being somewhere.

Jen Pov:

It's been a week since Emma left. I've been texting her on and off. I really miss her a lot. My life has not been very simple lately, Ginny and I talked about stuff so I could clear my mind. Colin and I were still friends and we decided to ignore any feelings that we may or may not have. Since today is Sunday I'm going out to lunch with Rose Mciver who is a great friend of mine. We've both been very busy so we haven't had a lot of time to talk. I drive up to the restaurant and see her sitting inside at the table. I walk inside and she greets me
