Chapter 15: Tuesday

Jen Pov:

I get up early today because it's Tuesday, Jesse is coming. He said that we would meet me on set and have lunch with Emma. Evan got his cast off yesterday so I got up to find him running around the kitchen.

"Evan, stop it you are going to wake the house up"

"Sorry mama"

I smile at him, pick him up and tickle his stomach. I really love this little boy. I get a panicky feeling and run to the bathroom, I throw up. I feel someone pick up my hair

"Mom, are you okay"

"Yes, just morning sickness. I'll be fine"

"So.....I'm meeting Jesse"

"Yes, if you still want to"

"I do, I'm just not sure what to say"

"Honey just be yourself, he just wants to get to know you"

"What if he asks about you"

"What do you mean"

"Well, can I tell him you and Colin are dating"

"Yes, that would be nice actually. Then I don't have to explain anything. But you can't tell anyone about the baby, I'm only 1 month"

"Okay I won't. When are you going to tell the world. I mean you can't hide it forever"

"I haven't even told them about Colin yet"

Now I'm starting to freak out

"Mom I'm sorry I didn't mean to stress you let's just get ready to go to set okay"

"Alright"

Colin gets up and we all head to Starbucks. We have some scenes this morning but I'll have a break before lunch to see Jesse again. I haven't really talked to him in a very long time. I thought I wouldn't be seeing him for another 5 months at the reunion panel. Before I know it it's lunch time. I walk back to my trailer with Colin to get Emma.

"Babe it will be fine, do you want me to come"

"No, I need to talk to him alone with my daughter"

"Okay"

I hold Emma's hand and we walk around to the front of the trailer park where I see Jesse standing next to his car. We approach him

"Hi Jesse"

"Hi Jen"

"This is Emma"

"Hello Emma it's nice to meet you"

"It's nice to meet you too"

"So you'll bring her back in an hour"

"Yes, I was just planning on taking her for a short lunch"

"Okay, that sounds good. Emma just text me or Colin when you arrive back here"

"Okay mom"

I watch her get in the car and she drives away with Jesse. I walk back to my trailer feeling upset that my daughter isn't with me. I walk inside and see Colin.

"Jen love did it go okay"

"Umm yea, it was brief but I want her to know her dad"

"It's a good thing"

"I guess so"

"Can we talk for a moment"

"Umm yea"

"I want to go public with our relationship Jen"

"Really, is the timing right"

"It's never right, but we love each other and we are having a baby"
