Krist parked his van in his driveway and we all got out. We all got out of the van and crosed across my driveway to my side door.

"You legit live next door to each other," Dave said as I unlocked the door and headed inside. I threw my keys and purse on the counter and grabbed a step stool to start looking through the top of a certain cupboard.

"Yep. Have since I moved here. Even after her parents moved to this house, I got the house next door when I got out on my own," Krist replied as he leaned against the kitchen counter.

"Where are your parents?" Dave asked as he sat down at the table.

"They passed away 5 years ago," I replied as I grabbed a box. I put it on the counter and as I tried to step down to the next step, I lost my footing and started falling. I closed mye yes and waited to hit the floor. Nothing happened. I opened my eyes and saw that Dave had caught me. "Thanks," I said as he put me down.

"Gotta be more careful. Sorry about your parents," Dave responded as Krist grabbed some beer from the fridge and headed to the living room. I grabbed the box and we followed him.

"It's fine. Incase you ask, car accident. They got hit by a drunk driver," I said as we sat down on the couch together. Krist sat in his usual spot, on the floor across from me with the coffee table between us. He handed us each a beer.

"That sucks. So what do you guys usually do when you hang out?" Dave asked looking between Krist and myself.

"Smoke pot and listen to music. Sometimes make out," Krist replied. Dave looked at me as I glared at Krist.

"You guys make out?" Dave asked as he looked at Krist again.

"Only when she was really drunk," he responded.

"Or we smoked too much," I added. Dave looked back at me with an eyebrow raised.

"The goodie two shoes smokes pot?" he asked.

"Oh she's not a goodie two shoes. She dresses like one but don't judge a book at it's cover," Krist said as he grabbed the box and opened it. Dave shot me a questioning look as Krist started doing what he did best when we hung out, rolling the joints.

"Come here," I said as I grabbed Dave's hand, stood up and dragged him to my bedroom. I closed the door behind us. He walked over and sat on my bed.

"So why'd you drag me in here?" he asked. I took off the large sweater I was wearing over my spaghetti strap dress that went down to just below my knees.

"To show you what Krist means by don't judge a book by it's cover," I replied as I put my hair to one side and unzipped the back of my dress before finally turning around to show him my tattoo. It was two dream catchers with some feathers. It started between my shoulder blades and the nape of my neck and went down the middle of my back.

"Holy shit," he exclaimed. I heard him stand up and walk over to me. I felt him standing right behind me, his breathe on my neck. When he touched me where the string on the tatto was I jumped slightly. He traced the string until he got to the nape of my neck, then he traced around the first dream catcher. He continued down to the second one, traced it then followed the feather that went down the farthest. He ran his finger back up the middle of my back before tracing the rest of the string. What he did next surprised me. He kissed the nape of my neck where the first dream catcher hung down. A knock came at the door.

"Hey you two can wait to make out. Come smoke this joint," Krist yelled. Dave zipped my dress up for me.

"We'll be there in a minute," I yelled back. I heard Krist leave so I turned around to face Dave.

"Guess he's right, you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. That's an amazing tattoo. Any special reason why you got it?" he asked as he put a hand on my hip and the other on the door behind me.

"I've always liked dream catchers. I got two because my parents passed away," I replied.

"It's a great tattoo. We should get out there before Krist comes back," Dave said as Time of the Season started playing.

"I guess," I said. Dave moved back so I could turn around and open the door. I did just that and we walked out to the living room.

"There you guys are. One for you and one for you my beautiful girl," Krist said as he handed us each a joint.

We smoked them and where listening to music and drinking for most of the night. We were pretty drunk an couple of hours later.

"I'm not walking home. I'm crashign right there tonight," Krist said and pointed at the couch Dave and I were sitting on.

"Fine by me. Dave can sleep on the floor," I said with a small giggle. Dave leaned into me.

"I'd rather cuddle up to you," Dave whispered.

I smiled at him and pushed him away. The next hour we drank more and smoked mroe and played twister. Krist had lost. Once we were all untangled, Krist walked over tot he couch and laid down.

"He's about to pass out," I said as I stood up from the floor and walked over to a chair in the corner of the room and grabbed a blanket from the back. I walked back over to Krist and put it on him.

"I'm not even tired," Dave said.

"Me neither," I said as I started cleaning up the coffee table. Dave helped by putting the stuff back in the box. He picked up a joint and held it up to me.

"Smoke now or throw it in the box for another time?" he asked as I picked up as many empties as I could.

"We'll smoke that in the bedroom before we go to sleep," I responded before heading to the kitchen to throw the empties in the recycling bin. Dave came in with the rest of the empties and did the same. Dave walked back into the living room and as I followed I turned the lights off in the kitchen and dining room. I turned the lamps and record player off before walking over to where Dave was leaning against the wall.

"Coming?" I asked as I started down the hallway to my bedroom.

"Thought I was sleeping on the floor?" He asked as he started following me.

"Maybe. Maybe not," I responded. I stood in my doorway and waited til he got to me. He walked into my room and I closed the door behind us.
