Meeting Melanie Martinez

Amanda's pov

I woke up the next morning with someone's arms around me and I panicked before I remembered that last night Josh slept with me.

I looked up at him expecting him to be asleep  but his bright blue eyes were open and staring at me.

"Hi" he said.

"Hi"

I  got up and said "I'm gonna go have a shower" I said.

As I was washing my hair I realized I'm going to rehab today. I got out of the shower and realized I left my clothes in my room.

I wrapped the towel around myself and went back into my room hoping Josh wasn't there.

I opened the door and Josh was still on my bed. "Forget something?" He smirked holding my clothes.

"Can I have those?" I asked.

"Hmmm let me think about that."

"Jooossshhh" I whined.

"You can have them but you have to come get them."

I sighed and walked towards him and tried grabbing my clothes but he held them just so that I couldn't grab them without going in the bed.

I pouted at him and he said "fiiinnneee" and handed me my clothes.

I smiled and walked back to the bathroom and got changed into dark jean shorts and a tight red shirt that said if you don't like me you shut up 'cause you don't know what's up. It's one of my favourite shirts.

My hair was in a high ponytail and I just brushed my bangs down. I had on concealer and a little bit of foundation along with some bronzer. For my eyes I did a simple cat flick eyeliner. For my lips I used a nude/shimmerey lipstick.

I walked out of the bathroom and Josh did a wolf wistle. I slapped his arm and said "shut up!"

He laughed and I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen to grab some breakfast and a Coke Zero for Josh.

I walked to the living room and found Josh sitting on the couch.

I descretly shook the coke and then said "heads up!" And tossed it to him.

He shot me a smile and opened it and it exploded on him. I laughed and he turned to me and said "oh it's on" he growled at me.

My eyes widened and I ran. He chased after me and we ran around the apartment until he finally caught me.

He cornered me and pinned me to the wall "I caught you" he said breathlessly.

He leaned in a little bit and so did I. We were about to kiss when Katie came in saying "k it's time to go!!"

I groaned.

I grabbed my bags from my room and gave josh a hug. "I'm gonna miss you" I said my eyes tearing up slightly.

His eyes widened. "Hey hey it's ok I'll be here once you're back and I'll come visit you all the time!" He reassured me.

I smiled weakly at him and walked to the door with Katie.

Luckily the rehab was only a 15 minute drive so it wouldn't be hard for Josh to come visit.

We arrived there and Katie signed me in. "Katie I changed my mind I don't want to be here I can deal with it in my own." She sighed. "Mandi it's what's best for you" she said.

"But I'm not gonna see you for over half a year!" I choked out my a lump forming in my throat.

"But when you got out you'll be better!" She said to me.

"I'm gonna miss you" I said a tear falling from my eye.

"I'm gonna miss you too" she said her eyes glistening with tears to.

A nurse tapped on Katie shoulder and said "you have to leave now miss"

"Ok thank you" Katie said. She turned back to me and gave me one last hug.

I decided that if I'm gonna be here I'm not gonna cooperate with the nurses. Besides they seemed like snobs.

I waved bye to Katie as she walked out and a nurse said to me "I'll show you to your room."

We went to a room that already had a girl in it and the nurse said "Amanda this is Melanie Martinez your new roommate. Melanie this is Amanda Unrau."

I looked at her and saw that her hair was dyed so that half was black and half was blonde.  

"Hi Amanda it's nice to meet you" she said softly.

"Hi Melanie." I responded.

"Please call me Mel."

"Ok."

So this was the girl I was stuck with for the next around half a year.
