Ali's pov
I was out in the garden reading when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my lower region. I looked down at my belly. " is it time baby girl, are you coming ?" I said to my belly rubbing it
I stood up and walked inside. 7 minutes later I felt the same pain again. I groaned in pain then went and packed up stuff for the hospital. I walked out of the bedroom and as I was about to go to the living room to tell my husband Niall it was time. I felt a pop and water splashing over the floor. Welp there goes my water.
" NIALL ITS TIME MY WATER JUST BROKE" I screamed out panting as another contraction hit.
Niall ran in and grabbed the car keys and carried me to the car bridal style.
" stay calm Ali, it's gonna be ok, our baby is gonna be here" Niall ranted speeding off to the hospital.
" Niall slow down, I don't want to crash" I said panting as another contraction happened. We pulled up at the hospital and Niall carried me in.
" MY WIFE IS HAVING A BABY SOMEONE HELP" Niall screamed as a nurse brought a wheel chair. Niall grabbed the bags from the car and hurried in to follow the nurse who was wheeling me to a room.
" ok the midwife will be here soon" the nurse said closing the door.
" baby you're doing good " Niall said kissing my forehead.
I smiled weakly at him.
There was a knock on the door and an elderly lady walked in.
" hello I'm your midwife Anita and this is Nurse Bailee and nurse Jenny here to help assist with your birth" the lady said.
" so I'm just gonna see how many centimetres dilated you are" she said
" ok you're 7cm dilated so when you reach 10cm it will be time to push" she said
I nodded as another contraction came. Niall was helping with breathing exercises we learnt at birthing classes.
Nurse Jenny came and wiped the sweat off my forehead.
" ok Mrs Horan you are now 10 cm dilated, when I say push you push ok" Anita said
I nodded.
" PUSH" Anita said
I pushed as hard as I could. Niall was holding my hand as I squeezed it. I was almost in tears from the pain it was unbearable.
" good job Ali, keep going princess you're doing great" Niall said whispering sweet nothings into my ear.
" PUSH" they said again
I pushed and pushed as hard as I could.
" ok we see a head and shoulders" Jenny said.
I pushed again when Anita told me to.
40 minutes later our baby was born and taken away to be weighed and cleaned up.
I laid my head on the pillow exhausted. Nurse Bailee came in holding a baby with a pink beanie on and wrapped in a pink blanket.
" I'd like to introduce you to your new baby girl" she said smiling and handing her to me. I smiled and started tearing up.
" she's beautiful" Niall said kissing my forehead.
" she truly is" I said not taking my eyes off her.
" so babe what are we gonna name her, I know we thought of a couple but the final decision is yours" Niall said as I handed her to him. He looked at her with nothing but love and admiration.
" Huxley Grace Horan" I said as I watched them lovingly.
" it's perfect Ali, our little Huxley Grace" Niall said kissing her forehead. He sat next to me on the bed and her little eyes slowly opened revealing the most gorgeous ocean blue eyes I've ever seen. She was born with a head full of beautiful brown hair.
The boys came in and awed at the scene In front of them. Niall was on the hospital bed next to me as I held our beautiful Huxley close.
