"Arabella, have you seen Twitter lately?" My friend, Harmonee, asked. I furrowed my eyebrows, shaking my head. "Here!" She shoved her phone in my face, her perfectly manicured hands gripping the sides.

"Okay..?" I hesitantly grabbed the phone and noticed she was looking through the trending topics on Twitter. All I see is "Luke Hemmings and new mystery girl? Already in a relationship after two months since the split with ex-girlfriend Arzaylea?"

I rolled my eyes and gave her the phone. "It's just pointless drama, the media is always twisting things around."

She sighed, "Yeah, but," she placed her hands on top of mine. "Everyone thinks you and Luke are dating, Bella."

"But we aren't," I stood up. "Can a girl not be friends with a guy? Can I not just be friends with Luke?"

She shook her head 'no.' "Apparently not,"

I groaned and pulled out my phone. I dialed up Luke's number and picked at the chipped nail varnish as I waited for him to answer. "Hello?" His voice came through the speaker.

"Set the rumors straight please. As I'm looking on Twitter on my laptop, your fans are sending me hate, people are assuming we're dating, I'm getting death threats, I just want it to stop while I'm ahead."

"Princess, I can't do anything about that, they won't listen to me. I could try and tell them you're just a friend but they don't listen. They're all about drama. Drama, drama."

He hesitated for a moment, before speaking. "And besides, we both know you're not just a friend."

The very next year, Luke and I had finally gone public with our relationship. We were happy as can be - other than continuously being followed by paparazzi and our relationship is on full show. We can barely do anything without drama. Drama, drama.

I'm just happy we don't have to hide it anymore. We can have dates at the movies, go to the beach together, dinner dates, etc.

All I do is ignore the drama, drama now. I've gotten used to it. I love Luke with all of my heart. He's a great boyfriend, and I'm stupid for not realizing it until it was too late.

Drama sure can bring people together, while some people are driven apart from it.
