Niall " huxleys 1st birthday "

Ali's pov
I cannot believe that my baby girl is one today. It seems like yesterday I was holding her in my arms for the first time, admiring her gorgeous blue eyes.
I sighed and set up the mermaid themed party. I put up banners and set out mermaid napkins,forks and plates as well as cups and table cloths. Everything was set up a man set up a jumping castle, there was cotton candy and a petting zoo.
Niall came and helped me and my sister set up.
I kissed him and then went upstairs to get my beautiful Huxley Grace ready for her party.
" Hux baby wake up beautiful" I said while lightly stroking her cheek. She slowly opened her eyes and made grabby hands for me.
" Happy Birthday Huxley Grace" I said tickling her. She laughed which made me smile.
I changed her out of her pyjamas and got her dressed into a green skirt and a purple top to represent Ariel from the little mermaid. I put bows in her hair and put little purple flats on her feet. I carried her downstairs and sat her in her high chair feeding her breakfast. I cleaned her face and went to wash the dishes letting her play in her high chair. Niall came in and came up behind her.
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LITTLE ANGEL" Niall yelled picking her up and twirling her around causing her to erupt in giggles.
I smiled and kissed his cheek.
We took her out and showed her what her party looked like she looked around in amazement and started clapping. I chuckled.
My mum and dad were first to show up then my best friends then Greg and Theo, the boys, the 5sos boys and lastly Maura.
Everyone was here to celebrate our little Huxley's birthday. I watched as everyone played and hugged Huxley. We ate lunch and then it was time for presents. We opened them all and thanked everyone although Hux was more interested in the wrapping paper. It was then time for cake. We lit the candles and walked out with the mermaid shaped cake.
" happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Huxley, happy birthday to you.. Hip hip hooray hip hip hooray hip hip Hooray !!!!" Everyone sung causing Huxley to clap and giggle. She blew out the candle with help from Niall and then we cut the cake. We handed her some and she got it all over her face. I took a picture and laughed.
I cleaned her up and then took her to the small petting zoo and let her pet a pig, goat and pony.
2 hours later everyone started leaving we thanked them for coming and then it was just Niall, Huxley and I with a jumping castle
We all went on it and bounced together. After Huxley had to go for a nap so I bathed her and put her in her 1D onesie then sat in the rocking chair singing her to sleep. I put her in the crib and kissed her forehead.
" I hope you have fun today baby girl" I whispered before going downstairs and helping Niall clean up.
We sat on the couch after and looked at Huxley's photo album
" she was so little " I said
" she grew up too fast, can't believe this time last year we were holding her in our arms for the very first time " Niall says sadly
I nodded as we looked through all the photos
Our little Huxley is growing way too fast.
