Part 4

It's been 2months I got my happiness back. Everything was going perfect in my life, I got my family back. But people other than mine were not feeling the same emotion. And I just ignored them. Pia started going to school. I joined my dad's hospital. A lot of my colleagues wished to trouble me but since my dad can fire them ,they never cross my paths. After work I go to dad's place to pick my baby up, my parents drop and pick her up everyday from school it's like a routine to them.

At present I'm making breakfast for Pia. And my big girl is getting ready for the school by her own.

"Pia baby hurry up , you'll be late."

"Mommy this shoes are bad I can't tie them up." Pia was struggling to buckle them up.

"Oh my baby, come I'll tie them up for you." I tied her shoelaces. The door bell rang.
"See you are late, grandpa is here." I said opening the door and hugging my dad.

"Glrandpaa"

"Hey sweety ready to go ?" Dad asked lifting her in his arms.

"Yes glrandpaa" she squealed.

"No you are not, who's going to complete the breakfast and milk, Dad she hadn't eaten her breakfast."

"Yes sweety you should eat to be strong so have some I'll wait." dad said.

"OK glrandpaa, but don't go I'll complete everlthing." she started eating hurriedly .

"Slow down sweety don't hurry." my mom came into the house "I was waiting in the car but you two were not showing up so I came to see." she said to my dad.

"Sorry Asmita I just forgot about you" my dad apologized.

"Why would you remember me Ram, when you got your daughter and granddaughter back. What am I to you." my mom faked cried.

"No Asmita, you are always my priority." my dad said.

"Yes grlandma grandpa loves you like I love you." my baby tried to console my mom.

"Awwww my baby I love you too." my mom kissed Pia's cheek.

"OK sorry to break your love session but someone is going to be late today." I said.

"Oh grlandma I'm going to be late today." Pia said and started dragging my parents with her.

"It's OK sweetheart no one's gonna scold you I'll talk to your principal he is my friend, so don't panic." my dad said.

"Dad don't spoil her , she's late." I stated.

"I'm scared , lets hurry up now." my dad faked scaring.

"Baby aren't you forgetting something?" I stopped her.

She came running towards me and kissed my cheeks "I love you mommy"

"Good girl now be good, bye" and she left with mom.

I got ready to go hospital. I met Ayush in lunch hour and we decided to go home together because he was free today.

At evening, dad's home

"Mommy, see glrandma bought me a new drless. It's so beautifull. Afterl school we all thrlee of us went to mall and had lot of fun." My baby was jumping with excitement.

"That's exciting. And did you bring anything for me sweety?" Ayush asked.

"Nothing." Pia showed her tongue to him "but grlandma bought mamma too a new dress." she showed me mine which was way too long for her.

"Mom it was not necessary" I said.

"Actually it is necessary for tonight's ceremony we are going to attend." my mom said.

"Yay a cerlemony yes I want to go" Pia squealed.

"Wait what ceremony. I'm not going anywhere. You know mom I can't. Everyone will be there and....." I was interrupted by my dad.

"It's been 2months. You never go out of your apartment and the house. You should socialise with people, if you are thinking about people's reactions then I'm there beside you to support I won't let anyone lay a finger on you and Pia. You have to face the world some or the other day and this is the best opportunity to show the people that you don't care about there judgements. And how strong you have become."

"But dad you know I don't care about people it's........ he will be there too." He was the only fear I had. I don't want to cross paths with him again.

"Avi what happened years ago was not your fault it was his loss to lose you. If you hide from him he would think you are coward, I know you are not that weak to let him lead his life happily after spoiling yours." My dad said angrily.

"OK fine I'll come but what about Pia I don't want him near her."

"Don't worry sis if he comes near you and Pia I'm gonna break his bones , I have waited so long for doing this" Ayush said cracking his knuckles.

I laughed out seeing his excitement but I was still not ready to face him again . I hope I won't regret my decision.

I wore the saree mom bought for me, it's beautiful red in color with black border. I pulled my hair into a loose bun leaving some strands of hair. I looked into the mirror, I have changed alot in these past years. I lost a few pounds of weight, my hair got longer. But still I look chubby and curvy due to my short height.

"Wow mommy you arle beautiful" my baby was admiring me. And I was admiring her she was wearing a red long frock with golden shoes and a flower in her hair.

"Thanks baby you look beautiful too" I said lifting her.

"Like you?" she asked.

"You both look equally beautiful" my mom said entering the room.

"Let's go it's time..... oh god first I think I should take a picture of you two. You both look gorgeous. " my dad said with tears in his eyes.

"Oh dad." I gave Pia to mom and hugged him.

"Okay no more crying let's take a picture" my mom said.

"Ouch I'm hurt. Never thought I would be forgotten like this. You guys are taking a family picture without me, I'm hurt, mom not you too." and here comes my drama queen brother.

"Shut up Ayush and take a picture." My dad said.

We had alot of Pictures. Then we left for THE CEREMONY.

I never thought my life is going to change completely.
