Part 8

Avi's Pov -

The whole night I was just thinking what Vineeth will do next. I know he'll never give up on me after that little stunt I have pulled against him yesterday. And like always he will target the one thing I love the most, my life Pia. But this time I'm prepared for anything.

Next morning -

"Avi beta wake up. It's lunchtime, still you are not awake. Aren't you well. Should I call your dad to check up you?" My mom was trying to wake me up. I think I slept in my thoughts.

"No mom I'm okay. I slept late yesterday. Where is Pia? Is she awake?" I asked getting up.

"Yes she's awake and is downstairs watching cartoons with your dad." She said folding my quilt. I stopped her.

"Mom don't do it. I'll fold it. You go downstairs, I'll be there in few minutes." I said.

"Avi it's okay. You go and freshen up, to kill the time I'll arrange your bed. Then we can go together." She said pushing me towards the bathroom.

I did my daily routine and got ready. When I came out mom was arranging Pia's toys.

"Thanks mom for making my bed." I said brushing my hair.

Mom took the hair brush from my hand and started brushing my long hair.

"It's okay sweety you know I like doing things for my children. Well your hair have grown long and beautiful, back those days you always used to cut them short. And I used to get upset because I couldn't braid them. Avi you have grown up into a beautiful and confident woman and a mother. You are able to handle the situations without our help. We both are so proud of you beta. We are here to hold you, when you fall and to look after Pia. Enjoy your life sweety. All these days you have suffered alot, now is the time that you let yourself out. We love you a lot sweety. We just want you to live your life. I know sweetheart it'll be difficult for you to forget everything, but try it once for us, please. Promise me you'll try." She said braiding my hair.

"I know mom you guys care for me and Pia alot and you all are here for me, to support and hold me when I fall. I can't promise you for what you have asked but I'll try to move on but I don't think anyone would want to have a life with a woman like me. So I'll just try to enjoy my life without a Man's support. I hope you guys understand. And I love you all too." I said giving her a hug.

"Well I'm more than happy that you will try." My dad said coming into the room and engulfing us.

"Hugs. I too want it." My life said running towards us.

"Sure sweety. Come." My dad said and engulfed her too.

"What are you waiting for, don't complain me afterwards that mom and dad forgot me....blah blah blah." I said mocking my brother whose leaning to my room door.

"No I'm just busy capturing these moments." He said and started clicking pictures with his phone.

After lunch

We all gathered in the TV room and were watching Disney film you can guess who chose it. My parents especially Ayu is actually watching Disney film, can you believe that I can't. Someone is going to get totally spoiled. In between the film our doorbell rang. Servant opened the door and in came the person I always shared my secrets after my mom, my bestfriend Kriya.

"Oh my god are you for real. You were in US studying then how come you are here." I said rushing towards her.

"First we wish our friends then ask them to sit and do they need something. But here my impulsive friend has bombarded me with her questions. Well hi Mr and Mrs Verma. Hey Ayu. How are you all? And is that cute little one Pia?" She said dramatically and waved to my family.
