Avi's Pov

"Pia get up beta. Don't you want to go to school?" I asked waking up my sleeping baby.

"Mommy today is holiday forl school. So let me sleep." Pia replied sleepily.

"Avi mommy always tells you not to lie, right, so come on get up baby."

"Pleaseee mommy I don't want to go, I'm not feeling well." Pia replied faking a cough.

"Oh my god my baby is not feeling well. Let me check........ yes my baby's temperature is raised by 1 degrees." I too acted dramatically with her.

"See I told you." She said looking pleased with her accomplishment.

"Hahaha sweet heart your temperature is normal. Now come don't make any more excuse and brush your teeth." I said lifting her in my arms.

"Mommy...... please I don't want to go to school. I prlomise I won't disturlb you at worlk. I'll be a good girl." She pleaded with her puppy dog face which I can't resist.

"Okay fine but you still have to get ready. I don't want to get late for my work, okay. And are you sure you want to come with me to work or should I leave you at Grandma's?" I asked lifting her up.

"Yes mommy I want to spend time with you." She said kissing my cheeks.

At hospital -

"Good morning ma'am. Is she your daughter, Pia. Ohh she's so cute. Hii there." Said my assistant when we arrived at my cabin.

And as usual my baby hid behind me. She is never comfortable with new faces.

"Sorry did I scare you?" She asked panicking.

"No Srujana she is just not used to new faces, she takes time to mingle ."

"Oh okay. Baby take your time. I know we can become friends till the end of the day." She said bending towards her. "And ma'am you have three appointments today. They are waiting. Should I send them in?"

"Yes send them." And she left. "Sweety mommy has to start work now. So you sit here on this chair and don't move. I'll play a Disney movie on the laptop for you okay." I said turning on my laptop.

"Okay she said and hopped onto my chair."

I got Sid's call while working on patient. My assistant held the phone to my ears.

"Hey Angel I miss you and princess. Well I love you both too. Are you busy?"

"Hello, me too. I'm on patient right now."

"Oh I see. Actually I called to ask what my princess is doing ?"

"She's watching movie on my laptop. She was....... wait a minute how do you know she is with me, I never told you she bunked her school."

"My love I know everything about you and princess. I may not be near you but I know everything."

"Are you still stalking me?" I asked and my assistant and patient were continuously staring at me.

"Actually yes. I can't stop myself from stalking you." Came a voice from my cabin door.

"Sid uncleeee!!" exclaimed Pia and ran to him.
"Hey princess. Missed me?"
"Yes a lot" and she kissed his cheek.
I smiled at my assistant and patient and asked them to wait outside.

Sid sat on the chair with Pia in his lap.

"So what brought you here?"

"I came for my princess today. Since my princess has not gone to school just like me. We would like your permission for going somewhere and doing some mastii(fun). Right princess you will come with me."
